Any weapon tips for the Maliss Bopper? Without healing I'm kind of fucked. It's tougher than the Cursed Effigy in BQs. I tied with it for the first fight, so obviously getting to at least five with the set I have now isn't going to work (Using a swashbuckle and reborn icewand for main attacking)

had no problem beating it 10 times but my pet is a very high T12, so I don't know if it was more the weapons or tier level (not that good at figuring that out like kbbob & MrCool).

With the weapons I used, I never did get a freeze on it, so I'm not sure if you can or not.

see I didnt need to freeze either, knocked her out, but out of habit I went to freeze and Im like...ok shes not freezing..I remember the no healing though...so thought I would ask. XD Think I was only able to get 5 wins last year so happy to get all 10 this year :)

Same here, was barley able to get 5 wins last year, this year 10 wins no problem. Spent the last year really concentrating on BQ and uping my pet's stats and it's paid off. Want to beat Roland this year.

Oh totally!! I cant wait to take on Roland!! I think I was tier 10? maybe last year...Its been a process but I also want to try and pummel the jelly wizard this year too, couldnt beat them last year...:(

I got a few amulets, only one turned into a tome. Wish it was more of course, but can't be too greedy I guess. :P

tier 11? AU is very nice along with a dark blocker like tainted keeper skull staff or gelatin slayer Swash/Trident can come in handy Fire blocker like pbow or natasha are nice too.

I got up to win number four on the maliss bopper ( no freezing no healing no stealing btw) but this last win is giving me trouble. I am so close. One time like only 150hp from a win (or at least a tie) I waddled over to read MrCool's advice from his blog. Got a rapier of error to finally add to my armory and it helped???? Maybe???? Probably. Idk. I'll look in to the paintbrush blades I think. I think they're a reasonable price last I checked and I've heard they're pretty good in general.

11, yes. I have one cobalt. I suppose I could splurge on a second one. I've been meaning to make a Sancturia Exodin Scroll, maybe I'll finally get around to it today. I did buy aaaaaa fatal fire scroll today, though I don't know if it was much help.

yeah fatal fire helps, maliss does dark and fire. as long as you cover light/wind/phys instead of dark and fire when you use it. also don't forget dark potions and negating pylonics

I've been getting negating and dark magma (as the cheapest non-blocked icon)

I'll swap out some of mods to block ... physical probably. I got out my rift staff for dark, and I've got the blessed trident or swash for wind.

Sucked it up and coughed up the 11m to make a Sancturia Exodin Scroll, going in to try one last time before putzing around in the kitchen

you may just be reaching the end of what you can do with the stats you have. Maliss isn't an opponent you can squeeze out wins without the "right stats" very easily

Wait, what do you mean I can't struggle through the wins through sheer force of will alone!?!?!? THAT WAS MY STRATEGY!!!!

Meh. I know, I know. I'm going to try one more battle, and if I win I'll be happy, and if I lose, I'll mope around the kitchen and consider spending my amulets and exp early to try to squeak in that last win. I prefer to do those at the end of the month, for my own record keeping, but I could tweak it a bit this month, if it'd get me the win...

everything disabled = less variables = less wiggle room

If you're that close, you could try using a Potion of Life, you equip it to your pet and use it as a potion, it gives you 1,000 points. I don't know if it would work in this case against as everything is disabled and I don't know if it would work or not. Kbbob might know. I have a bunch of extra, I can send you one if you want to try.

no healing is disabled, that will not work.

I do not like disabled challengers. they are quite frustrating x) especially freeze + healing disabled ones.
