Yup - they are pretty but not sure I can validate the price tag if they are going to sit there until there is a real reason to get them.

It's pretty cool to see the godlies now 'buyable'! Don't really think they are even close to worth the price though considering the other god weapons that are much easier/cheaper to obtain :P

Mmm I think I am quite content with the Godlies and demigodlies I have right now. Granted I really am curious to see some new ones being made for some elements.

Do we have a new Light Godly? Ice Godly? Hmm not really sure. I know the latest was the Cronus Blade but that's the Magma. Or do we have enough strong light/ice blockers already? I mean I know there's plenty but most of those weapons have a slight chance of blocking 50+ of the icons.

Technically I think Sandreaver was supposed to be the new Ice godly, but it is rarer and more desirable than WoTP lol

I think we need some new light and ice godly weapons. That's my motivation for saving, for the most part.

with t13 being such a large range, i wont be suprised if future "godlies" block up to 150 of an icon. or block 2 icons for 75-100 each. now if they decide to "scale" up older goldies to t13 (so better but not Overpowerd), they might be worth slightly more) but i doubt it.

they're probably just finding a balance so that it's not just ten people being able to get one (old godlies) or everyone has access to 1 with relative ease (cronus/mw) before releasing more

IMO, we need more ice blockers in general. Heck, the only reliable ice blocker we have below tier 10 only blocks 50 (Ice King has an easy time breaking through that) and requires an extra weapon you probably won't use in your set.

Ah yeah really. Pretty sure the Syringe can be called a demigod? Maybe not? Semi-demi-Godly? HAHA I have no idea. But hey if they ever decide to tie in more Godly weapons to achievements I'm all for it. But I kind of would like to see another light blocker. I know there's a few (and Trust Blades with 4k+ strength has a chance to block 75 light but the chance is often low).

Either way even if they release some that aren't full God weapons I'm fine with it.

I guess I don't think we need to have all of the weapons have equivalents, thats how you destroy choices.

(I'm pretty sure you used to play neonates, but am not 100% sure, if not ignore this) Look what happened to neopets when they released the Anagram swords. It made it so that pretty much any choice you made was arbitrary.

If ice is a little harder to block it makes decision making a little bit more interesting. Granted, i think it would need a revamp of all weapons to make it an interesting decision, and any revamp would need to start with a drastic change to the way healing works, but I'm not sure I would say that we NEED anything. It's not like you see everyone constantly clamoring around to borrow the WoTPs and Sandreavers as it currently stands.

Hmm yeah that does make sense, guess it's why we don't have the ice mage amulets/shards to add to the set. Does make things tricky but it can add to the challenge. Good point!

Plus now that we have no 100% blockers, I haven't run the math, but I wonder if there is a build where you combine something like WoTP + Prototype limb against an opponent like ice king.

It would still be nice if we had more ice defense though. I have the feeling that is why we don't get very many ice dealing challengers, yet we seem to get a ton of fire and dark dealing challengers.

It's arbitrary. Why not try and make a few differences in the weapon profiles availible to defend or attack with X type of icon.

Making analogs of everything is terrible game design, its part of the reason why the legends/combo legends are terrible. (mostly because they don't just heal, but even if they were made into good weapons they would pretty much be the anagram swords of subeta)

If anything they should do things like: Make Earth and Magma weapons end up dealing a lot more damage, but make it so that challengers tend to block a lot of earth and magma icons.

Have weapons deal fewer ice icons, but make ice very difficult to block.

Something like that would take a lot of conscious effort to do though, but if done right it could result in battles where it makes more sense to have a handful of weapons that deal hard to block icons, and have to earth/magma beaters set aside for freeze turns or something like that. Or if an opponent had a predictable cycling set of moves, or a high number of OPB earth magma blockers, you use one set of weapons early, and then finish out the battle a few turns earlier with earth/magma beaters.

I have to honestly say I have a Sandreaver and it just sits in my weapons. I never use it in my main set. Just really not a big need for ice block, but maybe that is just me.

If I recall, I could have bought WoTP for like 1.8bil, and I think I offered someone else 2.2-2.4bil for the spear tip alone and was outbid.

Doesn't Sanadreaver do more icons than any other god weapon, and have a double full block blessing like SoSS?
