scarsdale said something like, he would look in to it like a month or two ago. But it sounds like they're finding ways to make looking up high scores for things like that far less taxing on the servers, so I'd hold some hopes. though perhaps it'll be something like you need at least 10 wins to get on an IMP HS list all the way down to like 200+ for an easy challenger. that's how they made the books read/foods eaten lists better, by requiring a high threshold before the list starts looking at you as a candidate sort of. I've never posted on this thread, but I do lurk it quite often to see what's going on in the world of battling~ I only recently reached T4 so I'm not ready to take on hard(er) challengers quite yet, but I did have a question about some weapons, so I figured I would ask here.

With the price of Swashbuckle being so (relatively) low, would it be a good idea to invest in one for future use? Are any other high-tier weapons a good deal at the moment? I don't mind investing in them now so I'll be able to use them eventually, I'm just not sure what exactly constitutes a good deal on some of the higher-end weapons, and I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share your opinions! ^-^ Thanks in advance~

If you don't have a trident of the banished one, it MIGHT be a good idea to buy a swash now, since they might go up EVENTUALLY. Even then I wouldn't recommend buying one unless you could use it right away and needed it.

some of the staples you will use pretty much forever though are, phoenix quill, rainbow vortex (and possibly shinwas temple shard), reviver of the lion, soma tablets (and/or truth serum). IMO the best scaling weapon you can get is trident of the banished one, it's very useful from t8 all the way up to the cap. Hoever, lately the trend has been to make some very useful weapons in the middle tiers that scale up well, so it might lose some of that specialness.

I owned a Trident wayyyy before I got into battling and regret selling it ever since .-. I may look into buying a Swashbuckle, but at the rate they're going down I think I'll hold off for a little bit.

I dk how much you have for funds, but since the reset is just around the corner, it will most likely be a good time to buy some weapons that are loot drops. Not as useful as the weapons listed, but still there are some awfully nice weapons that you may want to pick up before you are able to win them yourself -- like RoE, or from challengers you may not have -- like frost thorn or PBB. All are well above your current tier, but prices are most likely going to hit about the lowest we'll see for a while on some of these items.

Funds aren't much of an issue as I've been saving for weapons for as long as I can remember. I hadn't though about the reset/loot drops - I'll hold off on buying those weapons for now then. That's a great idea. Thanks!

What the hell.....

I was doing my BQs when I got GE for number 29. I beat him and went to finish BQs number 30..... it says I already did 30/30 quests, when I know damn well I didn't. I was on level 29. Ugh damn it all.

it happens from double clicking the battle quests link that brings you to the actual BQ reward page that you get an item on, after defeating an opponent. its sposed to be being looked in to.

Hn... I saw the topic when I went to report it. Aye... live and learn I guess, sucks because with the lag I had to skip to the last 15 quests since the start of the event... so even less EXP right now. Oh well, hopefully they will fix it soon.

he's like a low-mid t12 version of baenwurath, for sure. one minute you get unlucky blessing drop crit a few turns in, the next you tie by the skin of your teeth, and then you win with some healers left lol. That time I have rotl left, and only used pquill to make sure i didnt tie lol.

same thing this fight. I like opponents like this, they're much more fun to fight, even if you're almost guarenteed some losses even if you're somewhat above the "threshold" of winning. hint hint BA's hint hint
