- I did get a couple extra amulets from doing Quentin twice, but there were no tokens before the reset, so I'm glad they did it. I need tons more for all those books! The extra EXP from BQs would have been nice, but BQs take the longest, that's why I tend to do them right at midnight so I don't run out of time to finish.

- I'll do some testing with Myrryah and Kyann, they both recently jumpped to T8 and both have less than 1200 spd.

- Yeah, I've got two with decent intel, and the rest only have enough AP to equip one scroll, if that!

Aboxalypse is the worst, I would not be sad at all if he was taken out of BQs.

- Kyann at 1080spd seems to be getting less than 10% activation, and Myrryah with 1118spd is definitely getting a higher activation rate 30-50% based on what I'm seeing. Seems like there is an increase in curse rate at 1100, 100% probably at 1300, I'll keep an eye on Myrryah and try to figure out where it is, unless someone has a pet closer.

Whatever we were categorizing minions for last year, and the news said that we haven't seen the last of minions this month.

Huh, I didn't hear anything about that. I'm glad you said something, I just decided to clear my hoarding shop out and sell everything I have doubles of, but now I guess I'll keep all the minions in there just in case we need them for something.

I hate events like that though. They're why I hoard/never make any money, because I'm always afraid I'll need 200 of something -.-

I'd trade minions for books, so I hope you're right. And I agree, there are so many (too many) collections already, and there are a metric shit-ton of minions in old monthly collections and stuff, it would make no sense to make that a thing.

As for a minion collection, I already have one in my gallery. I suspect that's what it is that K is up to. There are already several people who have been collecting them all along -- despite there being no achievements nor storage for any collection. Maybe we tagged them for various collection related achievements. In which case, as much as we might love books, I would guess the prizes (if any) would be more minions.

Blarg, well that means I can sell most of them unless there's like a perfect minion as a prize.

But people collect EVERYTHING. Sure, minions are one of the most popular items to dedicate galleries to, but that's what galleries are FOR. I know that no one is forced into participating in an aspect of the site that isn't their thing, and that I won't -have- to collect minions, but I still really hope that's not what this new thing is going to be. I don't need another collection to be mediocre at. And for the love of the gods, don't inflate the minions that are really rare as it is. Some of the most awesome ones are hard enough to come by as it is.

And I know this is ridiculous because they're just pixels, but it'd be weird to me to have an official minion collection... I just picture them like a butterfly collection, little pins sticking them to cardboard with labels under them. That's kinda morbid.

I think most of us (minion addicts) started out as normal. Then, one day, you spot a minion and it's just so cute/perfect/like a pet you used to have -- whatever. So you pick it up and toss it in your vault. Then you start to notice other minions that are quite a bit like the one you have in your vault. Naturally, you pick up one of those here or there from time to time. It's just a few minions. It's not like a collection or anything…

Next thing you know, you've got a whole bunch of one type of minion. Maybe they all look like nightmare pets or animals, maybe they're all bears, or they all have wings -- it could be any connection. At this point you decide to grab any others that fit this category. Now you're in real trouble, but you don't know it yet.

As you discovered when tagging earlier, many minions have multiple ways they could be categorized. Your collection has branched out in a hundred different directions. The more you collect them to "finish" your categories, the more you realize you need to sort them/categorize them differently. You put them all in a gallery so you can try different methods of sorting. Besides, they're so cool, it would be nice to show them off.

You keep discovering more and more minions. You find yourself picking up anything just because you don't have it yet. For some strange reason, simply collecting them all seems easier than trying to define types so you can end your obsessive collecting. Congratulations. You are now a full-blown addict. We meet the first and third Tuesday of every month. LOL
