Wasn't it the RD before last that we were told we would never have another RD? I know the last one didn't accept any RSable books so it was a little different. Things like "never" and "retired" have little meaning on subeta :P So who knows

you forgot "soon" too. I'm sure if there's another RD they'll hear a lot of negative feedback. honestly they need new creative events that don't involve hoarding or autorefreshing.

Oh I agree with you. Enforced inconsistently at best. It's a tricky situation though because no one should be afraid to say something unless it is blatantly disrespectful. There's a lot of posts that are extremely negative just because of who made the op though. But if you even mention gender/race/any touchy subject, you are a bigot because apparently everyone needs to agree with everyone else, and the most sensitive people control what can and can't be said. What happened to silencing people? I thought this was going to be a thing once the guidelines were up and running. I'd prefer just a rule called don't be a douchebag.

Was going to say more, forgot cuz I'm typing this from my phone. I just have mixed feelings about the guidelines. They are well intentioned. It's hard to trust the community though when there are blogs offsite dedicated to hate.
