OH MY GOODNESS, BEST BIRTHDAY!! :D Mine is this Thursday, but I am quite jealous! hahaha do you ever have costume parties?

The job is too stressful with us always being understaffed with so many kids, so I put in my two weeks Thursday. So I've been applying to other places and making nanny fliers. Josh is good! He just got a work from home job doing customer service for Amazon. He starts in about a month, so I'm happy for him. And also slightly jealous because working from home sounds so nice. I guess I'm just full of jealousy right now xD

I'm well! Home for the weekend, heading back tomorrow. Things are well, really busy, but pretty good overall! Crap at work as usual.. but hoping to get a raise next week :/

Morning everyone. I'm back from . In theory anyway. Today feels like a Monday and getting back into the swing is TOUGH.

Yes there was cheesecake. I made an apple cinnamon cheesecake for thanksgiving, and it was very yummy :)

Sorting CWs was always easy though. I wannnnt my drawers back. Yep, I've resorted to downright whining now, I know.

I can def. share the recipe when I get home (it's in a book). Heads up, my grandma (who bakes the best apple pie ever) said it was one of the best cheesecakes she ever had, so I'm pretty impressed with the recipes, heh.

Canadian thanksgiving at least :) American thanksgiving is practically at Christmas time :P

Ah sorry to hear that job wasn't working out :( Being understaffed seriously sucks. I know how it feels to be stressed because of that. It sucks most of all that you're not going to be working in a field you love. I hope you find something closer to what you wanted soon :)

Ugh, exactly. I just want to go back to sleep. For a few weeks. It's hibernation time in my world.

Yes, it was quite nice. My mom made 2 separate big meals. One turkey, and one ham :) And there were 10 different desserts contributed by all the people who attended. It was food heaven.

That brings back memories o-o Growing up there was a trend in my school at least for poodle skirts for a while XDD I was weird, I begged my mom to make one for me, but instead of a poodle, I asked for a record and musical notes... then I wrote "The Beatles" in sharpie on the record center XDD Please tell me you're going to complete the look with a pony tail and those, oh bless me, what are they called!? D: The black and white shoes. Curse my memory.

Heheh it was a small weird school, and the trend coincided with the most adorable idea in girl scouts. It was a themed father daughter dance, and the theme was the 50's XDD So thinking about it now, I think I may have had a hand in it spreading to the rest of the girls since I started wearing my record/poodle skirt to school o-o;; YUS! I'm so glad you're going all out, it's super fun to dress up like that AND a super cute outfit watched Grease too many times growing up How did you come up with the idea?

My mom had a poodle skirt in her closet from when we were kids and dressed up as one for Halloween one year and I found it xD It doesn't even remotely zip up, but I'll find a way to make it work ;)
