It was good! The actress playing the main character did such a good job portraying her. It followed the book very closely
Emily Blunt yes? I LOVE that actress. She's amazing. I totally have to go see it when it comes out. I think it's only in premieres for now.
Oh I didn't know there was a book!
Oh oh oh! Guess what! I actually went for a run today!
Oh lame! It's out in the US already. But yes go see it and let me know what you think!! And YAAASSSS. I read it awhile ago. You have to read it. Speed read before the movie.
YAY YOU. I'm about to go to the gym but I already showered today so I'm like hmmm should I go and get sweaty and just have to shower again or should I stay clean and snuggly in bed? xD
Yeah stuff usually comes out later in the UK. And europe in general. I'll consider it :o
LOL. I have that dilemna quite a lot. Showering twice a day seems like such a waste to me aha.
It is. And washing your hair that much is bad :c But I did go crazy on the double stuffed oreos yesterday so I'm thinking I should go xD
Nice spooky HA by the way. When does morotside start? Did I spell that right ;-;
Yeah, that's what I've heard too. Double stuffed? I didn't know that was a thing XD Did you go?
Thanks :D I'll bring it out again during morostide, but at the moment I'm just not in the mood for it XD I made it for a contest.
It's Morostide. Like a tide of moroseness. Morose-tide Morostide. That's how I remember it anyways. XD
And usually endish of october I think :o
Here in the USA we double size everything ;) HENCE WHY I'M TRYING TO GO INTO THE NUTRITION FIELD xD And yes I just got back! I did an arm workout and I am soreeeeee. That'll be my first time on here for that holiday. I'm excited to see what they have planned but also for seasonal plushies!!
That's true aha. Trying? You seem to be there already ^^
Oh arm workouts are the worst. I literally have marshmallow arms, it's ridiculous. Oh yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Morostide is FUN. The trick or treating is great. And there are always contests and stuff. OH AND THE HUMAN ZAPPER!!! You can zap your HA to get a bunch of different skins, it's FAB.
And battling. Are you into battling?
And you can start your pumpkin collection! That one's easy to finish :D And there'll be so many achievements for you to collect :D
Hehe almost :) I just really want to have my license and be "official". I've never liked my arms. Honestly, I have a slim build but my arms have always been a bit flabby and I felt like they didn't go with the rest of my body. And I had that awkward armpit fat. But I've slowly been making a difference by doing pushups everyday! I'm starting to see some definition! WHATTTTT THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. No ;-; I need to become a battler because there's literally battles for EVERY event on the site. Eeeeeep now I'm really excited. I'm already at 528 achievements which is a big difference from 500 where I was at a week ago xD
Oh I didn't realise you didn't have your license! Don't you get that when you graduate?
I see :o My arms have never been flabby, they've always been scrawny D: Whenever I gain weight it just accumulates above my hips on the sides. I hate that it looks horrible in pants. And then when I lose weight I lose my chest as well XD /is never happy.
I'm glad all those pushups are worth it!
Yeah it does! Aw yeah, they try to add some battling in everywhere. For morostide it's more like an optional part though, so you won't be left out. You should start training a pet though. It's really easy (just a couple clicks) and it goes really quickly at first. And getting sets for the first couple tiers is really cheap. And and I are quite into it, so we can help you choose a set etc.
533 actually! Go you! I loved my fist events on the sites because it was raining achievements basically LOL.
Morning all! How was the week end?
Haha no ;-; I still have two years of a masters program plus one year of a dietetic internship Aren't bodies so weird?! I find weight gain so fascinating. Like everybody gains weight starting in one area of their body that's different from other people. Ohh okay I'll go train now. You do that at riverside right? And yeah I managed a few more last night! c: I got bored and couldn't sleep xD
Yeah pokes everyone come out of hiding
Oh wow :o I didn't realise! Does what you're doing now count as an internship?
They areeeee. I guess no one is happy with everything aha.
Yup :D Riverside indeed! You might still be able to manage the easiest opponents for morostide!
Ahahaha, pushups to help you sleep good idea XD
Hi everyone! It's been a while. Sorry I've been gone. Our internet connection has been incredibly slow (and sometimes not working) for the past weekend that it has kept me from doing anything internet-related. How is everyone?
No haha I wish. The internships are HARD to get accepted to. It would be like if I was trying to go to physical therapy school. Very competitive. Yay! I've been training all day yesterday. What are good starting stats? And I found a forum explaining good weapons for each tier! Nooo hahaha I meant achievements xD
I get so annoyed when my internet won't work ;-; Good not doing much today besides studying. You?
Oh that's annoying. Any particular reason it was slow? Did you get up to something fun instead?
Oh :( Physical therapy school is very competitive over there? I guess it is here too really. So when do you need to start looking for internships?
Ah yeah, I love that thread! so useful!
LOLLLLLLLLLLLL. Achievements to help you go to sleep sounds way more relaxing :p Well, you should be able to beat the really basic ones quite quickly. Buttwing Bomber, Technicant and willowisp are all really easy. Just give them a try whenever you've bought a set.
A set should usually have 1 healer (or more if there is one that doesn't count as a healer) 1 stealer 1 shield (at lower levels) 2/3 permanent weapons And then the bombs tend to be really good at lower tiers.
That changes some in hier tiers, and depends how you like to battle.
[edit] Also, fyi, the pet you train should be the pet you read books to. Books give you alchemy points which are important for scrolls. And scrolls are super important in battling as it essentially gives you a third weapon per turn.
Oh I don't need to look. I'll apply to programs. And the programs have my clinical and community rotations already set up. But I'm hoping to be accepted in to a masters program that is combined with a DI program. That way I do my masters first and then go right into my clinicals. Oh I meant like pet-stat levels. What is a good starting point? I'm at level 7. I'm using Mowglii as my battle pet and thankfully he's the one I read books to as well xD
Oh I seeeeee. What are community rotations? Yeah that sounds much easier. That way you don't have to apply to two different thing. I guess what you're doing this year will help with your CV to be accepted into these programs thouh?
Hm, whenever really. The ones are said are really beginner beginner. If you have more health than them it usually helps you survive longer. But that's only like 15 for buttwings. So yeah, go for it whenever you feel like it! Also Battle quests are great for training. They give you EXP points which you can spend in the spend exp tab to get more stats.
So a community rotation would be working with either low income populations with proper food choices or working at at a WIC clinic which is for women, infants, and children who are a low income family and want to make healthy food choices with food stamps or need breastfeeding advice. Things of that nature. They're just very competitive so we'll see what happens! And yes exactly. The work experience, dietetic technician license, and a better GRE score will hopefully get me accepted! Ok I'll try that out!
