They'd been doing some excavation for a new subway system in that exact spot for some time now.. I imagine it has something to do with that.

I'm really glad I was off yesterday and didn't have to deal with the fiasco of getting all the clients out of the spa and whatnot. Apparently they came in and told them to evacuate 'cause of a gas leak and they all went downstairs and saw the hole and were like o.o

Oh yeah, that sounds reasonable. A car though. That's a pretty big hole.

LOL. Well. Maybe there was a gas leak. Which exploded and made a huge hole XD

Yeah, for sure; I guess they'll be doing works and stuff for quite a while right in front of your spa now too D: That can't be good for buisness.

I JUST got a text from my boss. They want me to come in this afternoon to help contact staff and clients. We'll see what that entails.

Yeah we don't have access to the database from home. It's too bad they don't have a more updated software - newer ones let you connect from home. At least I'll be getting paid for a few hours of work though! I just take the bus, so I don't imagine my commute will be any different from normal.

I'm wondering though if I can get some answers out of management today. There have been a lot of rumours going around that we're relocating or we're closing in August. I want to know what the heck is going on, but I don't know how to broach the subject without sounding like I'm in on the gossip.

Mh yeah, that is true. Yeah, but if they've had to block that road etc, it'll be awkward. I guess for the most part it's the same though.

Yeah, for sure. A sinkhole in front of the place is going to take up pretty much all available resources.

Oh wow, I'm glad you're okay! Having your work shut down because of it really sucks, though. I actually live around a lot of sinkholes myself, apparently there's a decent cave system underneath me, but we've not had any of them cause too much trouble yet.

It really is. Mm, I did have local friends, once upon a time, but they all got on with their lives and ended up moving away.

Me too! Haha, after seeing the work I've done on the current page my boss has had me working on, he's actually asked me about coding some other pages too. Things are sounding pretty promising!

I realize that with the sinkhole being so close to your workspace that it definitely complicates things, but I really hope things get sorted out soon so you can go back to work.

I'm pretty good! My mood has been picking up a bit lately, and it's definitely helping that things are looking good for my little web development internship. ^^

Hello all, sorry I've been so MIA. Work is more draining than expected.

I'm excited to see retired challengers return to battle :) There's been lots of exciting battle news recently.

Hah, well, I guess that in itself could be kind of a workout. Somehow though I think I would have gone to the gym anyway and just made sure to keep my phone on me haha.

You can literally see the sign for the spa in a lot of the pictures ;) It's been an interesting two days that's for sure!

New job is going well?!

When I go and just walk for 30 minutes I have my phone on and I'm playing Candy Crush ;) That's probably what's going to happen tonight!
