You're a latecomer then! I thought I was late to the party. I started watching GoT around the 4th season. Personally, I found the show a bit slow to start (season 1 was meh) but I think it really picks up in season 2 and beyond. Yay for free HBO access!

I haven't read the books, for one reason... they aren't finished. I don't want to get into a book series that hasn't been completed. I've started series before where the author died before finishing, and I don't like the incompleteness! So I'm waiting 'til the series is finished, if ever.

Yesterday was my last day, actually! I'm starting my new job on Monday. My coworkers took me out to lunch to celebrate my last day. It was a nice way to top off my experience there. It still hasn't sunk in that I'm never going back, yet.

Aw man, no wishlist search? That was one of the best features of old shops. I really do like the new quickstock though (and I don't even have GA for that new collection feature). So there's good and bad. I gave in and moved my old holiday shop to a gallery :/ But I'm not happy about it :K

It seems everything is one batch these days, which makes it so hard to get a hold of even non-private stuff :/ I'm on no one's private list, so at least I don't have to worry about those; I just pretend they don't exist. If I don't see it, I don't want it!

I think I'll hit tier 9 today or tomorrow, yay. If I end up doing my BQ, that is. A friend is coming over to hang out later tonight, and I'm setting up my new computer (I went with an actual laptop - albeit a tiny one, 11 inches!), then going out to do some errands, so not sure how much time I'll have today.

Hahaha I loved these coats the first time I saw them, but I was also skeptical about trying to use one. Backgrounds don't look very good with them, and of course the hair has to be shorter and sleek. I'm probably going to change my outfit in a bit ^_^ I put in my two weeks notice at one of my jobs, so on May 6th, I'll be back to only one job, and more time to breathe!

Really? I've always found that it's the other way around for me. With steamworks trinkets all I have to do is pick and event partner and we both just use a refresh add-on to do all of the work for us haha. Last year I got enough trinkets to get all of the items from this year, most from 2012, and some from the other years with a little left to spare. With Vesnali since I've never been an active forum-goer before (over seven years on the site, still only one star until recently), I'm usually lucky just to get a small handful of the items.

I tried to do a refresher with Lauren for the Vday thing, but I wasn't really sure how to use it, and it kept messing up. I need to learn how to better use them, I guess xD I've been on here for over 4 years, and this is probably the least active I've been the past 6 months. I've just been so busy with work, and I hate missing the events on here. Also, I'm Alana. Haha, I don't think we've met before. ^_^

I got two new pairs of jeans (I haven't bought jeans in 4+ years and just put a hole in my favourite pair last week), a pair of capri pants, a shirt, a black dress for work and a pair of baseball cleats!

I've kinda been hoping to get some new cargo pants myself haha. Turns out listening to a salesperson when they tell you that a pair of jeans you can barely fit into will be fine is a bad idea.
