There are topics on the forums that say like "Freckle Fever Bites Here" :D

In order to get a new virus, you have to change out of your current virus - looks like you're still wearing your old one. (Go to wardrobe, click the skins tab and remove your skin and save.)

Then you should be able to select the new virus you want.

Hmm I updated and took the skin off already. Arwen might be right though and it's just taking the site a second to update

There was a mention about a waitlist for certain popular viruses, but I signed up for freckle fever myself and had no issues.

Though it looks like your avatar has changed, and you have the bite icon, so I think it worked. I'm having a bit of trouble finding people to bite me though. I might create a board, if you wanna join :)

I posted on the two boards you had just posted xD If we don't have any luck we should create a board!

Now I feel like I should be contributing and biting people with the older strains I have, since it's a bit annoying to get infected.

I'll focus on that achievement maybe next year xD

I did that achievement last year (the first year it was introduced) and it was a pain because everyone was trying to get the achievement, so finding people who weren't already bitten was hard. Now that most people have it, it's the opposite, I guess, haha.
