How are you doing with hoarding?

I didn't start hoarding today's items, just got on, going to try and catch some goodies from the shops, and also buy snowballs :D And you?

Ah, snowballs are a good way to go. At least you don't have to wait endlessly for restocks. I've been going through my gallery trying and find things to donate :o

Other than that I'm sending applications for phds :o

10k isn't ridiculous at all, since on special occasions, there have been items for sale up to 15k tokens in the token shop - like legendaries :) I was aiming for 20k tokens, myself. Until this :/

Same, I'll be doing a little bit day by day, I guess. Vending is pretty much the only option, since I can't wait for restocks much.

You'll love the Valentine's event then :) I've only been around for one so far, but it was pretty awesome. Probably one of my favourites and I'm not a zombie person at all (WD grosses me out a bit :P)

Just got home from signing my contract with my new job. I can kiss my free time and social life goodbye.

Uh oh, is it a lot more hours than you thought? That sounds not so good!

Haha it's 40-44 hours weekly.. a mix of evenings and weekends and shifts are 9 hours. It's literally just a full time job, but right now I'm working like 25 hrs weekly so it'll be an adjustment ;)

Oh yeah, I can see how that would be a big change. But I'm assuming it comes with more money and other benefits :)

I'm sure I'll go through something similar if I change jobs, because I'll probably no longer have days where I can work from home.

Indeed it does. I'll be making $1.50 more an hour to start and then the owner did say that there was room to grow. And the environment just seems all around better. I'm just nervous because they keep saying how high the expectation is and that they want me to pick it up quickly :/

Honestly, though, that sounds like any new job. As long as you're trying, you'll do great. You already know the industry, so it's more just adjusting to the new environment, and the only way to do that is to be there and interact with everyone :)

Pretty sure that's normal :) It's always nerve-wracking to try something new. I think it'll be less different than you think, though.

I certainly hope so! I'm back to bussing as well which is a new adjustment. It just doesn't make sense for me to pay like $200 to park downtown, plus it's an hour door to door on the bus and in traffic it'd probably be simiar.

That's definitely a big adjustment. As a regular commuter, I can tell you there's good and bad in commuting - you can read or do stuff on your phone, so it's not wasted time.

The most important thing is that you're moving to a better job you're happy at :)

Yeah I plan on loading up my iPod with podcasts and whatnot so it'll be a productive or relaxing hour depending on how I spend it xD

So it looks like my team (Nature) isn't doing so well. Hahaha oh well, I just want the headband. And maybe a pet slot. Even though I reeeally don't need another pet. I've already had an empty pet slot for a year now, almost. And in about a week, I'll have my 4 year anniversary on here, so who knows what I'll pick xD

Exactly, keep that in mind, and everything seems a little more simple. Besides, worst come to worst, it's a job, you don't have to be there forever. But I bet it won't come to that; we always just see the worst case scenario first ;)

I'm on Team Headband Nature with you :P I guess most of us materialistic people just wanted the item, and aren't letting go of donate-able-items, haha. Though I was surprised I have a decent score myself, assuming each item donated is one point! I probably would have picked team mischief if it weren't for the free item, so I kind of wish they'd hidden them now, hehe.

Oh wow, that is a lot more hours :o Mh, if it's only one bus that's okay. I hated having to change busses when I had to commute to high school :o I always just read on the bus. Aw, it's normal to be nervous :* I'm sure you'll get on fine when you start!
