Collecting them in a gallery makes a ton of sense! I think I'll have to start doing that. I was using them all as I got them, and it was really annoying. I had only about 500 from last year, so I haven't made much progress, really :/

My break was pretty awesome! Sleeping in every day, doing holiday stuff, hanging out with friends and catching up with old friends.... lots of good stuff. I'm totally taking extra time over the holidays from now on :D How was yours?

Speaking of slow, I'm getting about 50 NY tokens a day. This is not going to make a dent in my 100+ item wishlist, haha.

That sounds awesome. When you say therapeutic horse program, you mean using horses as therapy for kids/people, or more like a horse retreat? I loved going to horse camp, so I can imagine that would be an interesting volunteer position regardless. I never had a little sister, and I always wanted one. And the thought of being there for someone younger who needs someone sounds pretty cool.

Haha, I love how your holiday includes a 'light fighting' and that's 'good' - sounds just like my family too ;) So much food. It's actually almost a relief to not have so much temptation around now (almost all the holiday cookies are gone now, just a few left!)

I've let my gold run out. I have the free medal they gave us for the tree incident, but I don't really want to use it :/ I'll probably just buy spare tokens near the end of the event when they drop in price. I wonder why they made the NY shop so much harder to get everything from than other seasonal events? I mean, you get 40-60 per day without gold, and there are tons of items for 25 tokens. That's like a few items per day if you want older items.

Have you got that theme yet? I'm using it now, it's quite pretty. I like it more than the arctic frost one for winter.

They are trying to make it easier. Items for the last two years have been a lot cheaper than for previous years. And this year you can get some through random events too, which you couldn't last year. But yeah, it's a lot more frustrating than for other events :(

I noticed that. The last few years were much more reasonable. It's still pretty tough to catch up. I'm starting with the oldest items though, just to get them out of the way. Yesterday I got 3 whole items haha.

It was for kids with autism or down's syndrome to ride the horses. It was therapeutic in a sense that it made them happy, and apparently horseback riding is really good for their muscles!
