Yep, back at work. I've been spoiled these last couple weeks with 5 day weekends and such. At least it's only one day today, and then back to the weekend :P But after that, it's gonna be killer to go back to working the full 9 to 5.

I just got a new phone before christmas, and it ACTUALLY plays subeta and neo, so I know what you mean. It might work, but everything is TINY.

Christmas and New Years fell perfectly this year for some nice breaks! I, unfortunately got a weird schedule out of it and then my boss' husband is in the hospital right now so I'm working a 12 hour day today and tomorrow so she can rest up.

Yeah, the holidays fell very nicely this year. When they're on the weekend, you get cheated out of a little more time off.

I would have thought it would die down a little after the holidays. Leaving early sounds nice. We leave early at my work on Fridays, so I'm out of here at 4 today. Counting down the minutes...

we're a hair salon too so it does die down at the spa side of things but people still need hair cuts ;)nnAt least you only have til 4 not 7! Jealous. I don't think I brought enough food to last me lol

Good point. Speaking of haircuts, I need one. My ends are a mess. I'm not good at taking care of my hair. I wish I knew how :P Getting it cut more often would probably be a good start.

You need to find somewhere you like xP and every 6-10 weeks depending on your length is typical.nnYeah just down the street there are a few places but I hate buying my lunch while I'm at work. Feels weird to spend money while I make it.

I do buy haircuts from groupon often, but no, that wasn't groupon. I've actually had mostly good experiences through groupon. I walked into a salon in the mall that time. And yep that was probably the last time! At least 7-8 months ago :P I've never found anyone I absolutely love, so I tend to skip around.

7-8 months?! Yeah you're due for a cut for sure. Haha I remember your experience. Brutal. I'm due for one too, actually. My colour has faded and I want to cut a significant amount off and do like a longish bob.

Different outlook for sure xP It's also a matter of not having time to leave. When I work reception I don't get a "lunch break". It's run upstairs and shovel in food when someone is free for 10 minutes to sit at the front desk for you.

My hair is probably the longest it's every been, but yeah, it needs cut. It's not like I really do anything with it anyway. I'm a hair twirler, so my hair gets a lot of abuse.

I've always bought my lunch since I started making money. It's just easier than packing something and lugging it around (especially since I commute). Though I know plenty of people who bring lunch day in and day out.

I was looking on groupon for hair deals again, and some of the websites of the salons inspire NO confidence. Haircuts are expensive as a walk in though :/ I swear you get charged way more.

Yeah! The girls here do it for me. I get free cuts and I get 85% off any colour services. So it costs like 10 bucks for a colour and cut xD

I've gotten charged as much as $100 for a haircut, no colour. And I'm not going to crazy high-end places. It's because they don't post prices in a lot of salons, then at the end when they've already done the cut, they slap it on you. I should have asked first, I guess. Lesson learned.
