We had lasagna, garlic bread, salad, and pecan pie for dessert. But I actually went to my dad's house as well today and we had a honey baked ham, mac and cheese, rolls, and green beans. I'M STUFFED. Ugh I'm just like a big blob right now.

Tomorrow Skye has to work from 5pm - 1am so I'm going to make sure that dinner is ready and she has plenty of time with us before she has to go. My husband is going to make us a nice breakfast (I'm got some champagne for mimosas) and then pressie time! I can't wait. I'm horrible at waiting for Christmas... i always want it right away and hate waiting. so YAY! I have to feed that cats again tomorrow, but that's ok. I'll probably do it after dropping Skye at work.

I wish you could see my bunny right now. She lays under the tree and looks so happy.

Well your plans sound fun! (especially the mimosas ;) ) I'm sorry Skye has to work :c But at least you won't have to wait to have your Christmas! I was lucky and got two Christmas' today xD I'm bad at waiting too. Mostly because I just want people to open their presents from me so bad :p Aw that's precious! We get mad when either my mom's cat or my kitten go near the tree so they have finally learned not to go in that area xD But my kitten is currently snuggled up on the blanket next to me and it is pretty precious :*

Awwww ! Sounds adorable. Bunrabi, thankfully, can't climb the tree so that's ok. We make sure that the wires are away from her and no wooden or paper ornaments are on the bottom. She would definitely chew those up!

I must confess I'm bad at waiting cuz I want presents! hahahahaha I like for everyone to get the presents I bought for them, but I already know what those are soooooooooo... I need to see mine. HA! It's the not knowing that's the hardest for me.

I was like that this year! c: I didn't ask for anything specific so I wasn't sure what I would be getting xD

Eep, Christmas is almost herrrre guys! Less than 40 mins til we can look under our trees! I think you know you're completely obsessed with a game, when you're very seriously considering staying up just to check your digital gifts, haha.

We're watching the Lethal Weapon movies because we're weird! LOL Yesterday was Die Hard. I think it's time for a feel good movie soon. :)

I'm on the east coast - or EST anyway, but I'm a night person so I don't care, haha. I'll probably head to sleep shortly after though, because I know everyone will want to be up at the crack of dawn, and my mom has a strict rule about no one opening gifts until everyone is present :)

Funny you mention that. I was just arguing with my brothers today about whether Die Hard is a christmas movie. (I voted no, and they were adamant it was a yes.)

Die Hard IS a Christmas movie... sorry, your brothers are right!! :) We had the same conversation yesterday.

My rule for the morning is that the kids, my husband and i have to at least have a glass of orange juice, but would rather they ate breakfast (as my son reads over my shoulder saying 'ooooooo only orange juice' and then 'damn' when he saw me typing the rest)

Haha, it's the classic Christmas argument. My mom said they even had a segment on the Today Show about it, and that generally it's a gender divide, women say no, men say yes. BUT that from the vote they conducted, only 40-something percent said it was a Christmas movie. SO everyone agrees with me ;)

Your son is sneaky. My mom has no rules about breakfast (we're all 20-somethings now so I guess she feels it's pointless to argue, haha) just that we're all there, and packed up and ready to visit my grandma by noon. Every family seems to have these silly little holiday traditions.

well my son is my only non-20 something left. Both of his sisters are in their 20s, but he's 14 so there still some idea that we may forget in our old age HA! My entire family is still on the east coast as is my husband's so we all just sit at home and enjoy not having to run around doing things. Ultra lazy wins!

Having a smaller family unit to celebrate with does make Christmas less stressful for sure :) I only buy gifts for my immediate family, and I find that stressful enough :P My mom does all the heavy lifting with the turkey, though I've always been the holiday cookie baker.

Moms never forget, I know this ;) Today my parents brought up an embarrassing story from when I was 5. It's been over 20 years and they've taken the thing all the way, haha.

Hmm, I guess this is one battle that will never end. They keep showing it at Christmas, so I must (begrudgingly) say you may have a tiny point. (Just a tiny one though.)

Nope, moms NEVER forget. Ever! My kids would say the same. There's something nice, even now, about when my mom tells stories from when I was a kid and that was over.... well... that was a long time ago! ;)
