Yes, tons of work. I basically have to cover everything that needs to be done during my vacation, because there's no backup 'me.' So any articles that need to be written/posted while I'm on vacation have to be done before I go. So I'm working double as hard now so I can actually go on vacation. It's a silly system.

Not usually. I usually have a latte and sometimes a croissant. I find lattes with all that milk realllly filling though. I love big breakfasts when I have time to make them though (mmm bacon and eggs, and I love continental/buffet breakfasts when on vacation.)

A bit under the weather, still recovering from a nasty cold. Taking breaks on subeta between doing work.

Each time I think I'm close to being done with the packing, something else crops up. :/ I'm hoping to be out of here by the new year. I've got 2 rooms completely cleared, 2 more to go! I live in PA, but my fiancee lives in Texas (he moved down there due to a job) and the job market is much better down there. Also, my old job (I worked in a hotel) decided to sell the building and lay off everyone RIGHT before the holidays, so I'm using my severance pay to fund the move.

Alright first 48 hours have passed, so I think I can be around civilized human beings again XD How is everyone doing?

I'm trying to cross things off my to-do list, but it seems to keep growing. I'm bound to forget something, but if I do, they can just call me, since I'm not actually going anywhere. This time of year clients are all busy themselves, so if no one complains, it can probably wait until the new year, though, heh.

When is the next book due out? My understanding is that the author takes ages to write. It's part of the reason I've never actually read the books. I can't stand waiting that long for the next part. Do you like the books better?

Aw, that sucks right before the holidays. But at least it allowed for a fresh start with your fiance :)

That's a pretty big climate change for someone who's used to seasons. Not sure I could do the permanently dry-heat Texas thing. I might be okay with Florida or California weather, though.

Oh I agree, it really sucks. They only gave us 2 weeks notice as well. It's going to be Houston, so it's closer to New Orleans in weather. I've been there a few times, and I love it. Besides, if I miss the snow, I'll come home to visit, ya know?
