I am pretty sure that her mouth is close to her nose because she is hugging the present? Things tend to squish when you do that.

Love that she is actually snuggling the gift against her face, which makes the cheek squish up against her lips and nose. This is a great revamp. Well done, !

Her mouth is alright, not too big of a deal on that since it mirrors the old look, sorta... but I'm well aware how a nose would look with a head tilted and something 'smooshed' against the face- but in my opinion, the nose is too low regardless because her head is not tilted that much- just slightly. There would still be more space there. Just makes the nose look strange to me. The 'see-through' eye brows through the bangs are also a bit strange, but I get it, so I don't really care. Over all, I don't hate it, but it's not my fave revamp.

i'm not in love with the change. it's really well done art; pie does beautiful work, but there is an innocence that seems to be lost in her face. she almost looks like she's not about to give you her presents now. if that makes any sense. and why are her eyebrows still floating over her hair?

I'm baffled so many people complain about the nose. Subeta, the open and loving community where everyone and everything is accepted ... except for different noses. Almost a ban on noses which are different from the beauty standard people have in their heads. I demand more nose variation like this, which artist do I have to poke or bribe with pizza for more nose variation on npc's?

Anyway on the art: I love love everything about it except for the eyebrows above the hair. And extra love for her smile. A+ job

Oh, cute!!! I do love it. But I'm not sure why her eyebrows are visible through the hairs, like the hair is clear. I noticed it before and see it in the revamp but have always wondered about that.

The quality of the art is much better now, but I kind of prefer her old face. Mind you, I like anime. ^^; The new one is cute, though. The more I look at it, the cuter it seems.

Thanks! I do think seeing the brows gives expression. I just was wondering if there was some story-reasoning (her hair glowed or something) or if it was just artist's choice and :)this explains it perfectly.

Can someone direct me where it says your nose has to look a certain way to be "right"? I think I missed that lesson in school. thanks!

Beautifully done, ! Unlike some, the nose is actually one of my favorite parts about the new Melody. I'm not a huge fan of the eyebrow choice above the hair, but I understand your reasoning. Overall I really like it.

I love this revamp! Her expression was kind of blank before...I used to imagine her giving gifts while in some kind of trance. She has much more personality now.

Also, her features look Icelandic to me :)

I'm not sure why so many people are obsessed over the nose. Literally only four people said they didn't like it -- and two of those four were more meh about it than anything -- and four times as many people posted to obsess over others' dislike. Is there an assumption that, because it's a revamp by Pie, people must care deeply about the nose? IDGI.

As part of the minority, I'm really not a fan of the update :/ Her face looks lopsided and squished. I prefer the old style, and it's not just Melody, I'm not a fan of the new Quentin or Ian and his poofy hair from the plot or many of the others that have been updated in the last few months. I'm not really an anime fan, but the old style looked more grown up somehow, the new revamps make the characters look like young children :/

Her hair is so fluffy and at first glance she looked like Misa Misa from Deathnote. I'll never be a fan of the eyebrows over the hair though. It just seems so odd and unfitting in this style. I love everything else!
