I'm loving all the revamps that NPCs have been getting as of late :) Especially since they're moving away from the hard black outlines and everything is generally softer. Also I love the red cheeks/nose combo and I never really think 'drunk' when I see it, just very cold and very cute c:

All this talk about drunk Melody makes me want to make a horrible "GET CRUNK!!!1!!" Blingee of the image.

I think the update is cute, though.

I really like this revamp. Can't think of anything to add that hasn't been said already.

She's super cute! So happy and snuggly. I was going to make some comment about how it was seasonally appropriate that she looks a bit drunk (I don't know how the rest of you spend Christmas day...), but it really is only a faint blush. She looks more cold than tipsy.

My only complaint is that her mouth looks a bit underbitey. It's not a massive flaw, but it bothers me.

I'm not really getting how people are getting the impression of drunk when they see the red nose and cheeks.

I can kind of get why, but my first impression when I saw the image wasn't oh, she's drunk so much as, oh she's probably cold.

Anywho, love the image.

Melody is looking absolutely amazing now! :D applauds for making such a great job of the revamp :D

The hint of blush on her cheeks & nose is definitely perfect for someone who lives in such a cold climate, and that outfit looks really warm & cosy, rather than anime style like it was before :D

I love Melody's new look. Her face actually has distinct features now instead of just looking like an anime character :3

Just have to echo that Melody's new art is adorable! She's definitely needed this for a while.

I love the update apart from the wings - either they come out the top of her shoulders or she has an unnaturally long, thin 'upper arm', if you get my meaning. I'm trying to apply what I know about bird anatomy to those wings and... it just isn't happening. Try and imagine them as a pair of little arms and you'll see what I mean.

The nose bothers me a little, but overall I really like it. It's much better than the old one and the art is well done. It's a welcoming change and Melody really needed it for a while.

It's funny, since I saw the old image the other day and immediately thought "Girl, you need a revamp... hopefully you get one this year" and them BAM, NEW IMAGE TODAY. Twas awesome. :3

But yes, she is quite adorable! Something seems a little off about her nose (I have no idea what though), but overall, I love the improvement!

Why is the nose always a problem? People don't all have the same nose. I think she looks gorgeous. Not smug, but content and happy for the holiday season. And her rosy cheeks are wonderful...she is bundled up...of course her exposed face is going to glow!

I really like the revamp. She looks really cute now and the blush on her nose and cheeks really makes her look like she's outside in the cold. And I can't understand the problem many users seem to have with her nose and I really like it.

i don't dig this whole big strange noses joke trend for NPC.

I'm not a big fan, I really don't like the "see through" hair look in anime/art, but she does look loads better.

I'm glad to see Melody got a revamp! She was desperately in need of one, especially being a character we'll be looking at everyday for a month.
