MM for the first and the second were great, I think for the first we were both too excited, throwing things back and forth really fast.

For yesterday/the second I got some great items and I tried to match (but think I failed) and will be passing a few of them on, because wow the generosity!

So far nothing tonight... sent a couple starter/kickoff gifts and nothing back yet, ah well, so it goes.

ETA I also feel bad that I can only send things for a short while when the sign ups open for the night, and then for a short while about eight or nine hours later and that's it, because I have a full time job and can't get on the site during the day.

ETA 2 Still nothing from today's, I'll try sending another thing in the morning before work, but not too hopeful about this one...

Well, today, I'm not sure if my MM is just poor/new to the site or fishing for expensive stuff.

They started us off this time, as I was looking for a decent starter gift to send. They sent me some cheap items, but I was hopeful. I sent them a few items back. Nothing too expensive, but not junk. They sent me an item back and, thinking I was getting an active MM after yesterday's disappointment, I bombed them with a bunch of gifts. Nothing outrageously priced (nothing over 500k), but useful stuff as I figured they might be new to the site or something. Haven't gotten any response back in a while, so I'm thinking - once again - I got someone fishing for expensive stuff and since I wasn't delivering, they've given up. Oh, well.

I'll try again in a little while, but disappointment is high.

Today, my MM and I were actually exchanging a good number of gifts back and forth! I hope that what I've given is something that they might appreciate. I like to send books, minions, and other collectibles, but sometimes I just don't know what they would like.

I just feel bad because I am on at this time (late at night PST) then because of school, there's a large period of time when I'm just not online because I can't be. The messages do help with that though, since you can ask if your MM is still online.

The first two days were just sort of meh days. Hopefully things will improve.

My MM today is a total sweetie :) It feels like we're sort of one-upping each other in gifts, but with love. With the new messages (the newer new ones) we just keep complimenting each other and it's terribly cute ❤ I've had pretty good luck these past 3 days! Even when yesterday's couldn't get me expensive things, they had a theme and I was very appreciative of the thought that went into them c:

My MM keeps poofing in between gifts but at least they're active so far today :D I'm collecting some stuff to bomb them with later seeing as they're my first active MM :P

Though I've been on Subeta for a couple of years, I've never really tried out MM. I decided to give it a shot this year and it's actually really useful for me reading these comments about essentially proper MM etiquette. I think I gave medium-ish useful gifts but I think next time I'm going to try preparing themed packages and giftbombing! But I think I get on Subeta at weird times/sporadically so I hope I don't disappoint anyone though.

Very nice MM today! Very active and gifty with no pressure for upping the price range, and they even managed to throw a WL item my way. Thank you MM!

My current track record this year is surprisingly good. I'm not sure what to make of it.

I feel kind of bad for my MMs, since I work really odd hours and am often away during peak gifting times, but hopefully the quality of my returns makes up for it!
plus, there's always the weekends :)

Today is the second MM not responding :( Is frustrated...

Sigh, mine took a while to respond today so when they eventually did with some utterly random cheap stuff I was overjoyed and put together a nice themed package for them. I got one more item obviously chosen at random that felt calculated to get me to send more stuff. I think I'm not going to bother. The price of gifts doesn't bother me at all, but when there's an obvious lack of thought or interest there I feel like I'm being scammed out of stuff and I lose the will to put together nice mini collections. Nevermind, there's always tomorrow.
