I have two cats of my own, Smokey and Dolly. They say to tell your brood hello!

Caiman, the big dog, is the one who loves him the most... but Ruger doesn't really return those affections (as you may have noticed in the IG pic I posted yesterday). Caiman LOVES cats and just wants to be BFFs with them. xD Dixie just wants to smell his butt, and Manson has been too sick recently to care much either way, though they do seem to like each other so far (face licking, snuggling together on the bed once in a while...) And I agree, Ruger's eyes are like freaking saucers. O_O

Manson and Ruger return the salutations! :D Do you have pics to share? (I am such a cat lady.)

Here's Smokey, and here's Dolly! Dolly is Smokey's kitten - unfortunately Smokey got pregnant while we were still on the waiting list to get spayed at the Humane Society. It ended up for the best though, I adore both of them :*

OMG, - gorgeous! I have a soft spot for blues. My first cat, Toady, was basically a bastard Nebelung, haha (momma was a Russian Blue, daddy was a Himalayan). They look like they're snugglebugs!

I always see pics of the dogs, but not so much of the cats! Do share. :D

thank you! Smokey has just about all of the features of a Russian Blue, except her pawpads and toes are grey instead of pink. She even has the silver tipping. She was a stray though - about two years ago I was sitting on my front porch and she just walked up the driveway, up the steps, and sat next to me. Then she leaned against me and looked up at me like 'ok, you're my mom now!' I mean how can you say no to that?! And Dolly's father was a big orange and cream/white striped tomcat from the neighborhood, so she's actually a tortie - complete with 'tortietude' and all XD They are snugglebugs, that's for sure. Dolly keeps me on my toes though, haha.

I could see some of the tortie in the pic. Is she blue instead of black/brown, though? (My monitor here is terrible, sorry.)

I definitely couldn't have said no to that. My ex-husband ended up with a cat for a while after she crawled up his jeans when he went outside to smoke one day. It was just meant to be. (She was evil, so it was a good match.)

yep! She's Blue/Cream Tortoiseshell - I didn't even know that could happen until she came along, haha.

Ruger is such a handsome boy!! I thought he was a bobcat at first glance of that full body picture, he looks HUGE. Happy for you and your husband, I'm trying to talk my dog-person of a fiance to let me get a kitten; I've always had at least two cats...well barn cats(but not the scragly flea infested type, I made sure my barn kitties were fixed and wormed and had all their shots) and I want a huge grey tabby soooo I'm jealous ;)
