Awww, he's adorable :) I have two kitties of my own, one of which also has a short stubby tail like Ruger's haha.

Do you have any spare rags? if you do place a couple with each cat for a bit, long enough to get their scents onto the fabric (some hours to a day). Then take the fabrics and place them with the other cat, so cat A rags with cat B and vice versa. This will help them get used to the scents of each other before they even meet and can make the physical introduction less likely to be problematic since the scents are familiar. With the cat that is in other areas of the house you'll want to get the rags of the newly adopted cat in common areas your current one goes. Any areas they maybe eat at or like to hang out in rather than places they rarely go to.

Also if you can get it watch My Cat from Hell on animal planet. He has so many good idea and tips to help. If you can't watch the show try and see if his tips are listed on the animalplanet website.

Stubby-tailed kitties unite! :D It's also been broken and healed terribly, apparently due to an incident with a door as a kitten. Poor guy.

Haha, nope! Munchkins ARE super adorable, but they have such a reputation for bladder problems that I'd hesitate to adopt one. Surprisingly, they HAVE come through the local shelter a few times, but every single one has the common-for-the-breed bladder issues. It's a shame.

Already did it with socks! They're at the stage now where they can interact through a baby gate when supervised, and that's been going well. We're thinking about allowing Ruger into the house tonight since everyone's been acclimated to each other by this point.

I actually didn't know bladder problems were common with munchkins which is too bad because I love munchkins. They're just so cute with their tiny legs.. :o

Anywho, Ruger sounds like a really sweet cat, so congratulations on the new cat!

I think it would be awesome to have a dachshund or corgi and a munchkin, hahahaha.

And Ruger is doing well now that he's been released into the house with the other animals. Manson is a little touchy about it, and Dixie (the bulldog) keeps annoying Ruger (who is very politely letting her know that it's unacceptable), so my hopes are high that they all settle in quickly.

They are such big, intense eyes! Manson's got some gorgeous eyes, too (lovely blue ones), but Ruger's are like green-gold sauces. O_O

I was having such a stressful day, and your adoption story and pictures of that beauty really made me smile and just melt :)

How is he getting along with everyone else now? I have 5 of my own (I think...lost count haha) and there's some nasty fights to break up sometimes!

That's great that he's getting along so well. Poor baby though :( Colds suck in all species. Imagine not being able to blow your nose? XD

I love those veterinarian miracle shots. I also love kitty toes, and I'm quite jealous that he has so many toes :P I remember having a polydactyl one and you could always hear his feet loudly on the floor. I couldn't see the toes in the pictures but they're really cool cats :)

Aww weird parts...that's what gives them extra character!

Grossness alert:

My cat Westley has asthma/allergies and sneezes all the time. I have to clean his boogies off of the walls daily with a Mr.Clean eraser. Icky lol He has a habit of eating his allergy pills on his own though. Makes life a bit easier.

I hope his cold is over soon! Sneezing cats are no fun! Hmm little itty bitty kitten sneezes are cute though ;)

That is strange. I'd say that Manson was all fur...but they weigh the same so that can't be it XD
