The problem in my case wasn't that there were multiple accounts under the same IP... It's that one of those players actually was a cheat who did create a secondary account for herself. It wasn't a matter of simply explaining that we lived together, I had to somehow prove that I wasn't Cheater using a fake name. I didn't know how. I'd have sent a copy of my damn birth certificate if I thought it would help.

I'm not saying staff was cruel or even unfair; how could I prove something like that over the internet? They only had my word to go off of, and I was panicked and whiny. It wasn't good enough.

Even so... Everyone involved is a human being and no one is infallible. Declaring it's impossible for the kindly staff to ever mistakenly freeze someone is nonsense. Good people (especially those with little information to go off of) can make mistakes too. No system is perfect.

Identical IP alone is not enough to freeze someone with multis.

I've wondered about the IP thing as I've really wanted to get my BF to play subeta since I started being really active but have been too scared of the ban-hammer, so how do you prove your not a cheat.. besides the fact that (in my and my bfs case) I doubt we'd be doing the same things?

I have to note though that I did make another account once by accident and was given a warning. By accident I mean I forgot entirely that I had made an account here (I didnt become active immediately after making my account) having made it randomly to check the site out when neopets starting being really.... well crap.

Also I go to my parents every week and they havent said anything about me playing on a different IP once a week :) though i'm pretty sure none of my family play subeta so thats maybe why?
