anti-Jaxian, seriously? I know that some people ship them together as platonic best friends, which is fine, but to dismiss their relationship entirely is awful. Welp, too bad for them because this ship has canons.

Throughout the entire plot, I was just thinking to myself... "Ian, is he your boyfriend, or did you murder him? There's a secret there either way." I'm rather satisfied that it was not the latter!

Exactly! I thought those straps were on the chair at first because Ian was experimenting on Jaxon against his will. But then Ian seemed so worried about him! I'm glad the ending was romantic instead of utter betrayal.

I didn't actually care for prizes at the end of the plot to be honest. I actually just wanted an option to hug him. I could just see it now..

Jaxon:"You want a hug? NO! I won't allow it!"

me:-tries to hug his entity anyways-

Jaxon:"NOO!! Ian, get this human off me! Ian! Ian..?"

Ian:"Well if they can do it, than I can do it."

Jaxon:"What? Ian NO! IAN!! IAAANN!! AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! How will I get this human debris off my clothing? HOW!"

Ian:"You can use the washing machine in my lab if you want." -adjusts his glasses while looking at Jaxon-

Jaxon:"Did you just move your glasses at me for some reason?"

Ian:"No." (So many things we could do in my lab..so many forbidden things..those health codes won't know what's coming.)

I agree! There are so many canonically straight couples, it's everywhere and it's always shoved into people's faces. (Anyone remembers the Disney umbrella's short? "let's stick eyelashes to the other umbrella so people would KNOW THEY'RE STRAIGHT!") So I'm glad Subeta took a step and made it officially canon. I personally don't care that we didn't get to see them BECOME a couple. The way they spoke to each other was so sweet and caring, it was quite obvious (in my opinion) that they have been together for a long time.

Although you can always find it on my tumblr (I should probably add it in my signature) My headcanon was when Ian has free time and really misses Jaxon he comes to the mansion, makes himself some tea and sits in the living room in hopes he might feel Jaxon's presence around. .

Read through this entire thread and I was smiling the entire way through!! I've never really been invested in a plot before, but I can say that this one was by far my favourite and shipped Jaxian from the very beginning. Joined the ping group and am toying with the idea of a fluffy Jaxian fic but for now I shall just squeal over the canons on this ship. c:

I usually don't have much time for plots (I'm v-furry sad I wasn't able to participate in some y.y) 'cause I'm in college and... yeah, not much free time and sometimes I need to take a hiatus for some months. But I'm happy I was able to do this one ;u;~ squishes
