They where definitely way too relaxed for the relationship to be anything recent. I just love how it was portrayed -- Very subtle yet thoroughly obvious. There's a lot of strength in their bond, what with how much faith Jaxon has in Ian. That's something that doesn't often happen even in the best of friendships, and certainly not over night. I'd say this has been going on for at least a few years, And since the familiars where test subjects before trying this crazy idea on Jaxon, yeah. It just confirms it. But we have to keep in mind that they can only see each other for one month each year,[Poor babies ;-;] so the time they've spent together might seem quite short compared to other relationships, but that just shows how devoted they are.

Okay I've been lurking in this thread for a bit but I've seen people saying that staff confirmed it's 100% canon? Where?! I totally missed that and I need this confirmation in my life.

Hehe, no probs! I already have it on Liked and honestly I'm seeing people giving the whole "I don't see them as a couple but as best friends" which yeah okay cool and it's important but a finally canonically gay relationship is even greater! No queer baiting that draws fans in but never does anything beyond that!

Yeah I don't like it when people say there's no relationship at all just because it's subtle. God knows canonically straight relationships in most media are so obvious it's practically impossible for someone to pretend they aren't canon. I want the same for canonically gay relationships as well. :)
