I'm not sure. I know at least one member has their own WS group so I'm guessing they'll go back to that. A couple of us are newbies. I'll probably see if any of them are going to play and then see if any experienced WS person is looking for more teammates or to branch off or what. I may also see if wants to play. It seems like it'd be just her kind of thing. But she may be moving then and might not have time.

I am doing good, how are you? I went shopping for a Wedding dress yesterday and oh man.... the feels. I am still undecided but really blown away by some of them (both in price and beauty). Why does getting married have to be such an expensive affair? It's insane what some items should be next to nothing, but people want to suddenly sell for much more just because they find it will be used in a wedding instead of a normal party/function. I don't want to go into more debt just for this :(

Hello! I can totally respect that you have such a lot of things going on! Full time work and school? That's a lot. I've got myself spread pretty thin too with full time work, taking care of my Grandma, freelance photography and other things. It's amazing with how much we can squeeze into our schedules but still never feel like there are enough hours in the day. Keep up the amazing work! It will pay off :)

Then don't. Do what you want to do. My parents got married with my mother in a blue dress she used for parties. It was her favorite and my dad wore the same suit he went dancing in. Be you. If the dress is too much then try ebay or maybe one that you love and already have. You can adjust it with a little material to make it into a wedding gown. Maybe your dad can do barbeque for the wedding lunch. Who doesn't love barbeque? Even vegetables taste wonderful!

I've just recently started saving for getting married and you're right it is so damn expensive! I have been looking at venues to try get an estimation of how much I need to save and it feels like it's going to be another couple of years before we can get married :'( We've been engaged nearly 6 years already (but we did get engaged very young - 21!)

aww.. I understand. I paid for my wedding, and kept it close to 5K total. I went small and tried to do what was important to us and not worry about a lot of the other things. It was STILL stressful because there's always tons of input and opinions and people seem easily offended and it makes NO SENSE.

Still, for us, it was worth it to have the memories. But I say stick to what you love and don't worry too much about what everyone else thinks you need. <3

Sorry all! Good point! I tend to not wear a lot of dresses for multiple reasons. I do like to play dress up when I find stuff in my size but for the most part, I try to hide a nasty scar on my leg (so I don't have to answer questions about it). I guess I shouldn't be self conscious about it, but I am. It's something I'm working on.

Yeah, I felt the same way (still kinda do, it's overwhelming at times! Just for one day!). I actually just found a place that will let me rent it out for a total of three days for only $750. That will give me time to actually decorate and tear down/clean up and not have to worry about doing all of that the day of. Plus, I'm getting married on Halloween so most places I was looking at wanted double (sometimes triple!) just because it's a holiday. Since my guy and I are paying for everything on our own, I really needed to keep it as cheap as possible. It's a small venue but it does allow me to get married in the Garden area and then party inside the building. If you are looking to have a smaller wedding (which is easier on the budget), I would suggest checking out your local Garden clubs or civic centers/local parks. We have a ton of parks in my area that for a small fee, I can rent out from the city for a party or wedding if I needed to. If you ever wanna talk/exchange ideas, hit me up :)

Thank for the ideas. I want a spring wedding, which in theory will be cheaper because it's the start of the season and I can buy my dress and other wedding things at the end of the previous season.

Is everyone ready for Survival? Anyone after any achievements this time round? It's tough to wait though. Would anyone like a round of Dress Up? I thought of a new addition to the choice selection. As you know, we can choose a theme or a page number for the wardrobe. I'm suggesting adding items to the list. For example, the person choosing can pick 'cloak' or 'dress' as their item. The word doesn't have to be in the item's name but it does need to count as a cloak by being long, sweeping and sitting on the shoulders. Would anyone like to try it?
