I actually like this idea. Because it's not retroactive, you can't actually go back and add skins you didn't keep. I think it's fair, but I wouldn't mind if it cost something too. I like being able to switch between zombie and zapper skin, anyway!

You make a very valid point Spring! I had only read the announcement when I posted the first time, sorry. I've spent the last 20 mins reading through people's comments on it and trying to get all the facts I could.

Yes, I am excited to keep my zombie skin and have the chance to use human skin without losing my zombie base. I was concerned that everyone could just jump and be a zombie again, but from what it sounds like, that won't happen unless people get certain achievements and unlock other skins. It sounds like the old zombie skins are now "retired" or something. I was worried about losing the skin I've worked so hard to keep all these years. I didn't want to lose my access to certain Zombie only parts of the site. I also feel bummed that there won't be other Zombie skins as of yet.

It has taken years for the site to move on and finally allow something like this. I guess my other worry would be when will the other shoe drop? I don't want to be in a human like skin and then they take away all zombie skins. I would be really upset. There is no inclination that they will do this, but they do have the power to change their minds.

As you all know, I have been a Zombie for years now. I have scoured, tested and played around in the Wardrobe for hours to find a way to work with both my Zombie skin and to try to blend in when needed. I have so many items that help me cover up and it did take a lot of spots, so this is rather exciting to not have to use so many of those La La Layers books just to blend in. I'll admit, I do like the fact I kept catching people off guard with being a Zombie. :)

I totally get what you are saying! That was my first thing. I would die to have the old love bug strain, but yet it would be completely unfair to those of us who have endured the hardships of zombie life for a long time to suddenly have it be nothing. I did cure six months ago (regret it now, but oh well.) but I know all those layers added up and it wasn't easy or cheap!

I'm glad they won't let people just pick and choose without going through the process to get the skin one way or another.

I know they may change their minds. But if they do...I don't think it will matter if you are in-skin or not and they decide to remove them. Personally, I think it'd create a revolt and that this was their way to make it easier and please everyone and I so hope it'll work out well! I think ooh la layers are no more, too so it's a relief for another option.

I love how you've mastered the zombie hiding techniques. Lots of inspiration from you on that!

Aww, no more La La Layers?? :( I didn't know that. I will really miss them... I hope they will give us more layer slots, I seriously need more than 3 at times :(

Thank you for your viewpoints, I do see what you mean. I didn't know you cured! Sorry! :( It's all good though, atleast these changes are for the better. My offer always stands to our group, if you ever need anything from the Zombie shops and I can get it, I will always help out :)

I have to admit that was my feeling. In some ways I'm disapointed because I worked so hard to ge good looks with a Zombie skin. But my main thought right now is absolute joy. The black light skin is one of my all time favs and not only have they updated it so it now has a female variet (FINALLY!) it's now mine for keeps. Next Morostride I can look into getting some of the others. I love the Bronze skin too so it will be nice to have that choice. I wonder how you unlock them? Do you just have to have them or do you need to keep them for a set amount of time? I suppose we'll find out. But I like the idea of being able to collect zombie skins. There have been some wonderful ones I'd like but I didn't want to loose the year advantage. Plus I do have a great fondness for my Bakerstrain look and I'd be sad to loose it. It feels really strange to see the normal base again. I haven't used it since the infection except to do hairstyles. Now it's back. I'm rather overwhelmed. Though I am with you on this one Eva. I hope they don't remove it all rather suddenly. I know they didn't expect us to retain our Zombie strains but I'd rather not loose my ability to shop in the earlier years. It helps everyone out in the end as we can keep some pretty cool items on the market.

I think the new skin thing is cool! I don't have any though lol When I zapped myself during Morostide, I drank the potions to "delete" the skin XD I don't understand how can we have more than one skin? Or we can't? I'm confused o_O

If you had a zombie strain you could cover it up with one of the zapper skins. I did that with the blacklight skin I currently have. This new system means this doesn't apply any more. I can wear one or the other or neither. It's a choice now. I think that's why they waited until after Morostide to launch this. It's easier on the servers if only a few of us have extra skin choices.

So we can only have one zombie skin and one morostide skin? o:

No. That was how it was before the new system was announced. Now we can have a selection of skins. We can only wear one at a time though. Before this, I wore both a zombie and a zapper skin. The zapper skin hid the zombie skin so many had no idea I had a zombie skin.

Ooh I get it! So if I zap myself more than once I get the all the skins? o: That's awesome 8D

I don't know if I'm honnest. I have no idea how you earn the skins. It might be you only need to be zapped or infected to get them. But I'm guessing they'll explain once an event involving skins takes place. Next one would probably be Survival.
