I agree with , he should work out what he really wants, he seems to be doing whatever he wants, no matter what, hurting you or his gf x: That's what I see, but I might be wrong.

Thank you both. I have to talk to him today in a few hours. I'm so nervous. I'm not going to lie... if my parents wouldn't have hated him so much ... I probably would have forgiven him for the cheating... but they found out and refused to give him a chance and I hated having them disappointed in "keeping him" ... if that makes sense.

His job would require us to move. (us if we were to work it out) ... he is training for the airforce right now. He will start next year.

you make some good points. , I'd be super careful about getting back to someone who has cheated like that. I speak from experience that guys like this will say anything to get back with you but probably not mean it. If he loves you, he wouldn't cheat on his current gf. If he can cheat on her with you, he can cheat on you with someone else. If he HAS changed He'll straighten up and prove himself for a good long time without any expectations from you before asking you to take him back.

I know it's hard when you have feelings for someone. I just don't want you to have any more pain. You deserve a GOOD, HONEST, FAITHFUL guy who will treasure you. <3 I'd be super cautious about this one. One of my only regrets about my life is some of the second chances I gave to an ex who I truly did care about but didn't deserve it. He just said all the right things, and I wanted so badly to believe he was going to be different. But that's just not how it works and I wish I'd walked away and on with my life before I did. In the end, I was the one who suffered the most by saying "yes" again to him.

SLash, I also have been super sick. NASTY cold. It just won't go away. I'm better, but not. It's hard when we have to get up and work every day, huh?

Well I went to my uncle's 50th party on Friday which was great fun. But I came down with this cold and lost my weekend to it. Mostly I've been sleeping. It's been a long time since I've slept 10-12 hours straight but this cold has managed it! I might try going back to work tomorrow if I feel up to it. We have training soon which I need to go to.

I know where you're coming from with that. It's hard when people you love say terrible things about one another. But they just didn't want you to get hurt. As far as your parents are concerned, this guy cheated on you, their wonderful girl, and made you cry. He's still hurting you now! I doubt I'd have a high oppinion of him after that. Besides which, I notice that there was no meantion of your upcoming job, just that he's going into the air force. It sounds like he's beginning a wonderful career but one that will leave you without him. Do you really want that? Do you love him enough to wave goodbye to him again and again? The more I hear about it, the more I feel you should end it now. He's got something amazing lined up and you have a chance to go to a place you know and be close to others you love. Both of you have amazing oppertunities ahead of you. Why not leave things for now until you've settled? If, once you have, you can still talk and meet up then there might be something there. But please, think about yourself first. Don't give up this wonderful chance for him. If he loves you, he'll let you move forward with it and be there once you've settled down. After everything you've been through, you disserve this chance. I'm sure he'll understand if he cares for you. Good luck.

Mine is getting better. It's not lingering per say but WOW! This thing hit like a lorry and hasn't let me get up. I literetly couldn't sit up on saturday. If I tried I found myself feeling dizzy, as if I was going to fall over. When I climbed into bed I just slept. I haven't slept for over 10 hours straight in years. Work is completely out for me right now. Maybe tomorrow but I'm not sure.

Oh that's great! :D Oh yeah, but sleeping sometimes helps you recover c: I'm sure you'll feel great tomorrow!

Sleeping that amount useally means I'm really ill. Sleeping does make me feel better but 2 days worth of sleeping for 10+ hours is unusal for me.

aw, that's awful. But sleeping feels good. I think that's why mine is lingering. I'm not able to get a lot of sleep and am still working so it's just taking a long time. Baby is better and that's what I was worried about so I am relieved though!

Thank you. ^_^ I get a little better every day. But I still feel urg. This cold has steamrollered me. Word from work is it's done the same to a number of other members of staff. At least I know I'm not the only one down with this.

I'm sorry. I know you were hoping for more from him. I'm sorry he didn't manage to change. But you have your new job and life ahead of you. You never know. You might find the one for you waiting for you there. I'm sure you can still chat to this guy and if he does decide to commit, then maybe you can work it out then. He's got a plan ahead for him and so have you. Maybe this is for the best. It sounds like you could both do with taking a step back and working out where you go next. The key thing is you realised his limits before he could hurt you again. That shows just how much you've grown up. Maybe you should call your family and talk to them about it if you want to. Or a friend. Just have a chat about it and let go. Sometimes being with someone who can make you laugh can help.
