Yeah, I know there are reasons. It just feels like there's got to be a better way to communicate changes. And no, random posts made on random threads don't get seen by most of the userbase. I didn't see it and I'm pretty frequent on the forums. I do see thread titles on the main forum page, though, so that's what stuck in my mind.

I'm harping on this because I keep hoping communication will change for the better in the future or in the hope that someone has an idea to make it work. I don't know; I guess I'd rather head angst/confusion off at the pass instead of creating ways to make it worse. Seems counterintuitive to me to just...do it and then go see what kind of angry boards are up, you know?

But the board was three pages long before the ping went through. And yeah, there's ping issues too (how many folks are on the siteupdate ping? I know I'm not). I just think there's got to be some better way, somehow and somewhere, to share information with the whole userbase and not just a subset of it, and I've got this idea that if I keep mentioning it every time something like this happens someone'll think of a way to fix it for the better.

But maybe I'm tilting at windmills.

Halloween is the busiest night of my existence. Do you think you could give us two-three days of five minute ToT's instead of just the one?

20-30 minutes is ridiculous. I prefer the 10-15 minute marker. How are people who only have limited time supposed to get everything? Or make the fast passes more frequent, or something. Something's gotta change...

It appears to be 15-20 minutes normally and with the fast pass more like 5 minutes. I can deal with that if you guys would stop hexing me

When have we ever been able to collect everything from an event at once? I surely haven't and I play 6 hours a day often.

Well with the Masquerade and Vesnali events having their own event shops, it makes it easier to get what you want because you can choose what to spend your points on. Since with Morostide you get a random item, which by the way could be one of last years items, it's going to take a lot longer. I wouldn't be bitching about the long wait if I was at least able to pick which item I wanted from ToTing. Even if they only gave 3 items as a choice for each ToT, I'd feel better knowing I picked what I wanted rather than getting something I already have or won't use. This is just my feedback (since this is the feedback forum) and I know that there will be people who disagree.

I'd appreciate it the times being shorter. Damn, I don't get to go door to door ToTing anymore and a nice 10 minute wait time between 'houses' would be really nice.
