xD Maxi also bit me several times :) But just because I wanted to handfeed her (actually works out, but sometimes she didn't bit the woodlouse but my finger xD) Unfortunately I have to give her away :( When my bf and I move out we are not able to take her with us, she needs her garden with the pond and her big aquarium and we can't afford to rent so much space >_<

well, native americans always believed that every single person is protected by their own totem animal (maybe you have watched brother bear? that disney film :)? actually the same idea) - these totem animals where choosed by your birthdate or by your personality (I don't know how this works out exactly) and it will protect and go along with you your whole life - at least that is what I read about it :) the totem animal also represents your personality

Awww, no :c My boyfriend keeps his turtle in his house. The turtle wanders all over the house and he puts him in the tank when she needs to be fed but honestly, the tank is only 5 times the turtle and not so tall so she always scapes and goes back to under the furniture, in the morning she steps next to the window to get some sun. She gets sick a lot tho :c she's always with wounds because she tries to get info small furniture. I don't know.... your turtle sounds like she has an amazing place for herslef!

I hope that my turtle feels good here :) Although she had to stay most of the time this summer in her aquarium - the pond was a total mess. We actually got two ponds, one bigger and one smaller pond (where the photo was taken), but the smaller pond was now removed (the foil has broken and all the water leaked out) and the bigger pond was not good enough (bad water equivalents, the fence was broken) So she stayed most of the time indoors, on very sunny days I took her out with me and she could do some nice sunbathing But I could not let her walk in the house :( My cat would start to play with her - and I don't know who would be more hurt, my turtle because of scratches or my cat because of bites xD

Oh, dat rich turtle. You actually made a pond for her, so so so cute!! I'd love to have turtles but last time I had they all died. The pet store I bought them in are now being closed around the country because bad quality, seems the animals in there are already meant to die so that reliefs me a little, it means I am not a bad owner. You have a cat too! What else did you got? I don't like animals with hair :c I think puppies are cute but I really don't enjoy having hair in me.

Turtles are actually very tough pets ^^ So I also think that they were some kind of sick before you bought them! Actually I wanted to have at least 2 turtles, but mine wanted to live alone (she killed two ... one were bitten to death the other one ... I don#t really know what happened, it layed death in the water)

Just my cat and my turtle :) We had a dog once, but my mother took him with her (but I want a dog x_x I miss him) Hehe xD Yeah, I got so many cat hairs on my bed, sometimes in my food and on my clothes, but I am used to it, it doesn't bother me at all ^^

Are they? I thought they were easier, I remember my sister had a turtle once but we gave it to my grandma because it was turning big and had to be with other turtles but she died little afterwards. They turtles my grandma had were very agressive and bigger.

I'm already not so clean, I mean, my clothe's everywhere and I never make my bed, so an animal would kill totally the room! I'd like to have a pet someday, I just don't know what'd be the right pet for me. A iguana probably! <3
