I'm hoping the doc will give me a note supporting me without charging me. I know they sometimes charge for things like this for insurance purposes so I'm worried they'll charge me now :(

Yeah, it's a new doctors since I moved house not long ago and I haven't spoken to him about something like this so I don't know how he's going to be. He seems nice enough so I'm hoping he won't.

For your sake I really hope he's willing to be super helpful and not charge.

Would it make a difference if you called and asked him over the phone? Then you could just run by the office and pick up the letter from the front desk?

Yeah I suppose I could ring and ask if he'd be willing to help me, saves me wasting both our times me visiting him and begging him for a letter when he could be seeing other patients.

Just make sure that you speak with him directly or at least his nurse.

I will try. He's the only doctor at the surgery so it might be difficult. Maybe if I ring first thing before he gets busy I might be able to get to speak to him.

I didn't get up early enough today to ring them, I was too tired but I'm starting work early tomorrow so I'll do it then :)

I don't blame you! I am desperately trying to put off getting ready for work because it's cold in the house but I know I need to start soon. I'm sat in bed with my quilt covering me and food besides me lol

That would be nice to be able to be online and in bed. But I highly doubt I'd ever get up like ever then. :p

It definitely can be a struggle especially when the only reason I have to get up is work, which I never want to do because work sucks especially right now. Too busy and not enough staff making everyone stressed and crabby :(
