Right now I am watching Halloween Wars on Food Network.
No wai. How did I not know this existed?! I love 'battles' like these :D albeit mostly in the cooking show genre.
Are you planning to enter Subeta's pumpkin contest? I'd like to, but they don't really sell pumpkins in my area.
[tot=Avery]
Nope. Making a pumpkin here would be a huge waste for us.
They do them every year. It is a 5 stage competition with 5 teams and each competition they make a quick challenge and then a 5 hour challenge that involves pumpkins, sugar and chocolate, cake and a theme where they also need to make an edible item for the judges to try.
Five stages? That sounds pretty hardcore! I bet the end results are amazing, though. And delicious. Especially the cake ;-;
[tot=Avery]
It is done in different days. One team is eliminated each day.
Ah, I see. I love your forum title, btw :D it's so matter-of-fact yet hilarious ;D
[tot=Avery]
Thanks! We are sea creatures around here ;)
Yeah, I'm afraid so. D: Some years have been okay, but they days leading up can be very distressing.
You are such a DEAR (pun is totally unintentional) I swear, every time I see you on the boards I want to ruffle your hair or something just for kicks and giggles. LOL I know this is lightyears before your time, but kinda like Wally and the Beave
My Sister, your last few HAs have hit my paternal instinct, you know "No one's going to hurt you...not on my Watch."
How old was Miss Emma when he took her Mom, I mean was Emma still nursing...if so I'd hunt your ex down like a rabid animal
Hi!
Hi and welcome!

It's my dagnabbed phone! I hit the post button and didn't see the little spinny-things-are-happening wheel, so I hit post again. Voila! We haaave a double post. I also managed to mis-spell every other word XD So much fail in one post. Amazing!
And hello yourself!! I'm with you on taking puppies away from their mamas too soon. I hope that didn't happen here :O
[tot=bapkate]
and I are having a slumber party and watching scary movies!
Aw, you're so sweet, you know ^^
I love the layering in the background and hot dog! I'll make popcorn!
Dogs are really adaptive mentally, but something like that does affect them and there's nothing sadder than hearing an adult dog making sucking noises in their sleep
Darling shh...you are the Queen of Sweet

Oh, you flatterer! blush :)
bubbles underwater
Awww, hope you don't feel too anxious these days :( are you able to stay home and chill during the weekend?
Hi, thanks a lot! Love your Morostide HA! May I ask which top you're wearing?
Haha, phones are capable of the impossible sometimes! xD I once triple-commented with two typos xD
[tot=Avery]
a triple comment!! You've just given me a new goal ;) I'll have to see if my trusty phone is up to the task.
That's so true! It's the same with cats. My sister adopted an adult cat that will randomly suck on your arm when she's sitting by you. I always thought it was because she was taken from her mom too soon.
Yesss for scary movies and junk food. Halloween is the best time of year for it!

Thankfully Emma was already 10 weeks when I got her. I think after 6 or 7 weeks they can start going to new homes. Emma was the shy one of the group and she hid under the shed when it was time for me to leave. I'm glad she isn't like that anymore with myself and with Eric. Now people she doesn't know yet, yes she'll stay by me until she feels they are safe to approach.
Now I am upset this one thing though. When all the puppies were old enough, some slipped through the fence of his yard and I asked why he didn't get them back. All he said was "someone will find then and take them in" That made me angry, but I wasn't the girlfriend anymore, so what could I do. He was like that with our dog Zoe and Abby. That's how Abby got pregnant. Slipped out of the yard and he didn't care. It still irritates me.
I want a scary movie marathon!! Grab some popcorn, candy, and drinks. Oh and don't forget the blankets :D
Yeah! Ten weeks is the recommended age from what I've heard from my dog-enthusiast friends ^_^ Emma sounds adorable! But that's horrible about the escaped puppies. Even if someone did find them and take them in, it was still really irresponsible of him. :/ Plus they were just babies! They could have gotten really hurt before someone found them. Let's just pretend that someone found them safely though: the alternative is just too sadmaking D:
[tot=bapkate]
I'm believing that someone found them and gave a forever home :)
Here's a picture of her. She is a tad bigger and a lot more hair now, but still my baby! keeps saying he's going to adopt her one day :P

Aww.she was the runt of the litter! The best dogs I've ever had have been the last to the chow line and the first ones back to bed, I'm sure and would agree! That's even worse! Oh my what a piece cat poopoo he was That's just irresponsible too bad that's not a prosecutable offense, like puppy endangerment
Mommy will protect me! I think most people don't know how to approach a strange animal without freaking them out.
Its a CW called Seductive Lace Dress If you have any questions about events, we're friendly and helpful so don't hesitate to ask!
It doesn't really effect their behavior, especially if their new pack is up to the challenge of having a very new new addition, but there are differences besides the nursing instinct
My Dear One.hogs wallow! Flattery is based on a point of dishonesty, your sweetness is a well documented fact
