I've had one pure bred dog and he was very very neurotic (overbreeding) I met my sister's newest baby yesterday, blue-nosed pitbull very very sweet but Max is just a baby, 3 months old and already has that stubborness that has exasperated pb breeders and trainers the world over and those needle sharp puppy teeth

I could have sworn that a few years ago Morostide started on the 2nd or 3rd...2 weeks of trick or treating and pumpkin patch hunting just isn't nearly long enough

No one is doing anything to me. Mr. Banana is the funny looking banana companion that spreads joy. Diesel can be scary so my banana helps my innocence. I am not sure what is so ominous about it.

Honestly i don't even know much about dog breeds. I love dogs, but i'm only interested in taking in one who needs a home and having a best friend, ya know? I would never get one from a breeder or bother with papers or any of that. I'm surprised that Zelda was free since she is apparently a pure Chocolate Lab (not that she has papers but they said she was and i don't have any reason to believe she isn't) because they're a very desirable breed around here...there were ads out looking to BUY one when i found her. But she had a lot of issues (mostly just due to the fact that she was still young and untrained) and the people who had her didn't have any time to deal with it. Hopefully Max will grow out of his stubbornness the way Zelda outgrew many of her issues! May i ask what is the name of that awesome scythe your HA is holding? I can't seem to find it by searching SubetaLodge and it looks a lot better than any of the ones i've seen on here.

Its Ribboned Scythe of Soul Gathering, I could tell you who commissioned it but not who the artist was I guess I kind of feel for the breed, they're not deliberately stubborn as a human would be, but they require a very special person to raise them, when they're young everything's a game, but they're smart and even after a few days, know their Mom/Dad's well enough to recognize when they need to submit. He's a good boy, he just needs some polish and he's being enrolled in puppy kindergarden today

Likewise on pedigreed animals, you get an animal because they need you and you them, but know too many people who exclusively do pedigreed animals and they become not companions, but property and that bothers me

I had a pure cream colored Lab named Zoe before since my boyfriend at the time wanted one. She was sweet and I miss her a lot. He took her and Emma's mom after we broke up :( All I have are pictures and memories.

I'm so sorry, I know how that feels :( I miss my dog so much ... I have years of memories and photos, but I try to avoid thinking about him because it hurts too much. Are you planning to get another dog in the future?

Yeah, it still hurts when I think or see pictures of those two. I don't know where they are and it bothers me every once in awhile.

I have a dog now, a Golden Lab mix named Emma. Her mom (the one I had with the bf) had puppies after we had broken up and he was nice enough to let me pick one out. So I do have a small part of her mom with me. Emma is 4 yrs old and will be 5 in December....time flies. My fiance now would like to get another dog once we buy a house, so then they'll have a yard to play in.
