Is it just me or are the uncharted land maps appearing more often this weekend? I've been an active member of the community for probably 6 months now, and of this whole time I had maybe received an uncharted land map three times tops throughout that time period. Today, I got 4 pieces since the clock turned midnight (subeta time). Is anyone else getting these events more often today? Or even just lately?

The prices look like they've really plummeted so I am going to assume that people are finally receiving these events more often, but has anyone else gotten a few of them just today?

Did I miss an announcement about this somewhere? I mean I ended up getting my set fairly cheap at a price of 20 mil back in June, compared to the 32 mil asking price of the time, and now you can get the whole set for about 8.5 mil? It seems a bit unfair that now they decided to make them appear out of thin air when back then they were almost impossible to attain.

And I know it's probably for Keel Hauliday, but it's deflating their worth, they'll pretty much become useless in a few days since everyone will have access to the Omen Island.

A staff member said the chances of finding them for keel hauliday were increased.

Also I have to disagree. I'm on here for like 12 hours straight daily and I've only found 1 piece this entire event. I only have 3 pieces of that map total so I don't think I'll be finishing the map in a few days, it will probably be another few years for me.

But did they ever make an announcement about it? I just wanna make sure I didn't miss it somewhere.

I got four today and the prices have plummeted, so if you have a couple mil grab some pieces. Most of them are under 1 mil and only 3 of them are above 1 mil for now, but probably won't stay that way for long.

I was considering selling mine but I'm gonna hold on to them until prices rise again.

You sound super lucky, like I said I only found 1 during this event haha I probably will end up buying what I need, it's been a few years and I'm quite ready to get to Omen Islands.

I hadn't even tried either, I got two from refreshing subQ and the others either while posting in forums or questing.

Edit: I didn't mean that as bragging. It's just ironic when they said REs for other things like raffle tickets, etc.. during the anniversary would be increased, I didn't see any REs. When they said SubQ REs will be increased for the wardrobe day I didn't receive any when on a normal basis I receive 1-3 daily, so it's just weird that this I am actually seeing the effects of this one despite being equally active throughout the anniversary and not one RE (except the wiz buff thing but I think that was spazzing on everyone).

I'm w/ you, . I've found 3 so far, but not all in the same day. Over the course of the week, which is FAR more than I've found in my several months of being here. It wasn't but a month ago I paid waaaay to much to get the last few pieces to get into Omen Islands and now those same pieces are a dime a dozen. /sigh Oh well. Ce la vie, right? 😸

I think that it's nice that its lower for newer people to be able to get them. When I was collecting them way back when they were like..10mil I think? I do think it would be nice if they went up maybe somewhat more but 30mil was crazy. I don't think new people should be punished by uping it to 30mil again because other users chose to buy it when it was that high.

I did notice that I got more. I don't even remember what I spent to get the pieces of the map for myself so the prices plummeting don't really phase me, I suppose.

Even if, say, every newbie manages to get the pieces for the Island (which is unlikely) there will always be new users and I'm pretty positives prices will end up going back fairly high by newbie standards.

I'm pretty sure I literally paid like 2mill for mine 7 years ago, haha. If anything, they've inflated. ...Just sayin'.

I think this is another example of Subeta not paying attention to the effect that their changes have on things.

I totally believe that the map was ridiculously inflated at 32 million.

I thought that they increased. I like to (secretly -ahem-) think that I helped the cause by commenting/complaining that there were hardly any uncharted map peices REs anymore and I was missing out on part of Keel Hauliday because of it. A decent amount of people echoed this concern and agreed with me. Very soon after, maybe 2-4 hrs later, they started suddenly happening all the time! :D

I got a treasure map since the end. I'm just glad I was able to finish my uncharted map with 2 days to spare! Gave me more items than I would have been able to RS since it got so hard to RS!

Hey, you! I do remember buying my set last year around november for 15mil sP. It is kind of a shame that they are easily obtainable but since then, for almost a year, I've got many advantages. Example, last luminaire there were special items only restocking from the Ocean Depths vending machine, and I got them all :D Yay Also, I can do Carl quests and got a lot of items I needed from him :P And there must be something else but I can't think much of it at the moment.

I share your feelings of "damn, I spent so much long ago" but still am glad that thanks to it I've got some advantages to this point of the year.

Well I have enjoyed vending OD which is mostly where I vend because that's where I get most wearables, some which aren't in DH. And ultimately I'm okay with it, but I grabbed a whole copy of the map, only needed one piece that I didn't get from a RE so hopefully it'll go up a bit and even if I sell it for around 10 mil that's something. Yeah Carl can have good or bad days in terms of quests but overall he's useful to quest and that's just a bit more profit I'm making. They didn't make an announcement but apparently one of the admins mentioned it in a forum.
