Oh my gooodness, that was so long ago! You have improved leaps and bounds, but I have to admit I still have several of your older items and like them quite a bit! You've always had a great eye for style. ^_^

Taking a big leap like that can be really rewarding when you're an artist. I personally wish I was at the place where I was willing able to take more creative leaps with my watercolors, but I know I'll get there eventually if I keep practicing.

My mother is pretty good in sewing and made me a baby blanket a few days ago. I was like "WHAAAA fabuloussssss!!!!" and she was talking about "this is not so good and that could be better.. " typical ^-^

@ muerte I used to make those art challenges a long time ago. I'm no programmer so I wouldn't know how to build such database but I'd be thrilled to get this idea up (if it doesnt already exist lol)

@ silvanesti naw I'll make it clearer next time that I'll still be doing recolors, dont worry n_n I have chubby small fingers. They're dumb looking (so if I use my hand as a ref, it isn't that great haha) I think usually, the middle finger is longer than the second, though it's hardly something to bother with, if you ask me!

I shall open one, at some point! My latest idea, and I really don't know if it's a good one or not, was to draw an overlay base and shade it - and then sell it that way, so that the prson can decide what color you'd like + add any accessory/feature on top. I don't know if people would even like the idea so I'll ask around... one day haha

I'm surprised as well! i remember most of the items I drew, most of the items that were released (atleast those publicly since I used to roam through all the threads) and it doesn't always seem like it was that far away!

it definitely bumped up when I started doing sets, that's for sure! I still didn't imagine I'd have drawn that many items, it's crazy! And thank youuu, I'll look into opening a shop / posting stuff on my tumblr at some point n_n

leaps are scary and sometimes discouraging but at the end of the day they're always more rewarding! Just last night i redrew the bunny that I had drawn the night before that one. It was infinitely better. It still needs a lot of fiddling around but I'll admit that I'm honestly surprised I can even do what I did, no matter how much improvement it still needs. I think more often than not, we end up surprising ourselves with our hidden abilities because we were too afraid to be disappointed rather than proud!

oh my, don't be! I'm used to pings by now haha (During that first day of the lumi event, I was doing a giveaway and got maybe 180 pings within 2 hours!) Self criticism is a normal thing and to an extent, it's what helps us improve. At the same time, I feel most people (myself included, I still think my cws suck sometimes lol) dont reward themselves enough for the effort and progress they make throughout time. (ps im sure the blanket was amazingly pretty!)

I don't think I ever did a wig with that high of a bun after, come to think of it ;o I did back buns, side buns and all, but one that really sits -on top- of the head? I'll have to investigate this! I'm considering making it a project to create a revamped version of a few of my earliest items. Perhaps in the next month or two n_n Which psd files are you talking about? If it's for the rose wig - then nope, I lost the files when my harddrive died, years ago qq

Well my middle finger is longer on both hands but it's ring and index fingers that are odd sizes. I mean no one is perfect and that's fine, but now that I've noticed it, I can't un-see it and it bothers me LOL. Though actually one of my friend's thumb is significantly shorter than the other one and a different shape because she sucked on it for longer when she was younger, and the difference between the two is quite noticeable. I think even pretty hands and feet and even well drawn hands and feet just look awkward. I think it's just because they're awkward limbs in general. I mean everything individually on it's own is awkward. I think when it's put together as a whole, that's when it looks well normal.

Edit: Also reading your response to I think that would be a cool project to recreate some old CWs. I love a lot of the old CWs, like the rose wig, but I personally don't bother investing in some of them because they don't seem to work as well with the newer clothes. They tend to be old in style, so it would be really nice to see a version of them that is more like the current style standards.

i find fingers/feet odd looking qq They just look like little uneven sticks! (Akthough if I had to pick, I hate feet/toes the most. Like what the heck, it's so hard to have nice feet or what ;_______; )
