I knoww, I'm glad I only had 20 mil worth of slots to get before I was done. My friend needs like, 70mil or something. For now, I still have two TCs for pets that I haven't created yet and will need to spend again when they arrive.

oh man I am so happy. I had a bunch of categories in my vault filled with items waiting to go in the TCs, the 12 hour wait on the MKB always killed me... Now I'm just finally done. I've dreamt of finally putting away my TC items for so long... X'D

Hey I thought you guys might like to know that the old Reference and Tribute thread has been brought back to life by , myself, and a few others :D It's a great place to go and find TC items for fan pets! It's likely incomplete as we don't know all the references so if anyone knows something post there and let us know.

Gosh, thank you so much ;; I'm awful at writing dialogue though and making things dynamic so instead I just tend to write these sort of floaty descriptions... Should probably do something about that.

Wowow, beating Prodigy must be tough. I still just dream of it, I should have started training far earlier as well. Do you use the auto-trainer by the way? I've been kind of wary if it's worth the CSC but then again I'm mingy as hell when it comes to using money on this site. That, and my memory is a sieve, I keep forgetting Rosie at the gym even when I have alerts.

I just ended up spending like 7 mil on one pet's TC slots after I thought I had already finished stuffing the chests. Someone needs to keep my finger off the buy more slots-button. I had an entire gallery full of stuff too, one category for each pet and it was growing for years and years because the 12 hour wait never actually gave the chance to dramatically reduce the amount. I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps TCs for unborn pets, I've been lurking for one particular name for quite some time now and just got the totem slot for her.

Dialogue is hard. Luckily you don't always need it. I mean if you plan to have the will-o-wisps conversing and planning, by all means do it. :P I'm sure it'd be awesome.

It gets less tough the stronger your pet gets. Just in the 3 months since I beat him the first time it's gotten a LOT easier. Even got win 2 outside of bq's. ^^ I used to autotrain, but it's not worth it anymore with how few sessions Isidra gets a day. It can really speed up a pet's training though.

Good, good, the little time I've been up. Spent so much time working on Poirot's tc yesterday that I'm like halfway done. :o Except now I'm moving into 'books i haven't read' territory.

How's your day been so far? Oh and how did moving go yesterday? Finished yet?

It isss. I've tried to just type down the conversations in their entirety without any 'he said she said's just to get them flow, and then afterwards edit those parts in. Yet it still takes far too much planning and half of the time I'm nowhere near satisfied with the result.

That's really good, and yeah getting more exp probably helps with future battles. I think I'll need to consider at least a few autotrain sessions, it's not like it's too expensive. Perhaps when I use another GA week so it's a bit less costy.

Poirot's TC is looking mighty fine already, there's so much stuff. Sadly I doubt I can be any help since I've only read a couple of the books and those were years ago, but have fun! Finding items to match book events is usually super relaxing. I started re-reading Silmarillion last night, and now I'm far too pumped for a Tolkien fanpet but 1) no room 2) I have no idea what I'd actually do with one.

Sadly I'm not yet finished moving (actually it's just hauling all my stuff into a rent storage until I find a new flat), but there's not much stuff left now so it should be all finished by tonight! And then I can focus on pets and art, finally..

Oh that's actually a clever technique. As long as you can remember who said what after. My mind usually goes 'wait, how do people' when I try to write dialogue. Plus casual conversation does not fit my very clinical writing style. They're all going to end up sounding like they're at an audience with the queen. No flow.

It really does. Better trained pet gets more exp, and in turns get even stronger. It's a win-win. :P But yeah you don't have to auto-train all the time. You can just do a session whenever you feel you can afford it. That's what I'm doing with my secondary battler (lanj, so sorry you always get the short straw ;__; ) Whenever I have a bit of extra csc it goes to his trraining. ^^

heh I just had a vault full of TC stuff. I've moved one of my future pet's TCs into my gallery "Anpan Acres" to show my friend and possibly get some help adding to it. And I've been musing buying csc to get another pet slot instead of waiting til next year to get that pet, I pulled together more than enough money, I just have to convince my dad and repay him since I don't have my own credit card.

yeah I have quite a number of plans actually! they're all to be certain aspects of my character, who I base my HA off of and name my account after (easiest way to remember a username EVER lol ) so far I plan on making them based off of her trickster self (read- everything bad about her x10 under a sugary sweet exterior ), her fears, Her new self, one based around her faith, one based around her anger, and while a small portion of her- her nurturing heart. in order I plan them to be a Sweetheart, Nightmare, Reborn, Galactic, bloodred, and cherry.

so far I have Cherry and Sweetheart in the works, Carissimi and Calumnia respectively. I'm going to have a crap load of treasure slots to buy along with a number of potions and actually write up something for them all. also another pet slot but I'ma wait until I get a loyalty box for that one since I'm probably gonna be in for the long haul here

in an uncharacteristic stroke of productivity, i actually went through and worked on one of my pets! put him up with a full profile, and all i've got to do is figure out what i'm going to do about overlays (might opt for a recolor? i'll have to find someone good at those if so). after that, he's pretty much done

mind you, it wasn't one of the many pets i already own who desperately need working on, but rather a pet i created that day

Current thing I'm procrastinating on is finishing an overlay for one of my pets that I started drawing...probably over a year ago? <_< It's the little details, shading, and highlighting that's doing me in.

Congrats, keep it up! :D Feels good to get the ball rolling by working on a pet. Furthermore, you're totally not alone with the whole "choosing to work on a pet you've just gotten as opposed to the many pets that you already have" thing. The first pet I finished making up a profile and art for was one I recently adopted.

I guess it's easier to work on something fresh, rather than try and muster up the motivation to work on something you've been ruminating on for a while ^^;

Phew! After a couple of days of reading plot summaries of the books I'd already read I am now nearly done with Poirot's tc.

Aww, that sucks. But it's almost always like that. One or two items of a type or set are so much more expensive than the rest. At least that gives you something to save for I guess? ^^

Glad to hear it, I'm sure your TCs look spectacular. I'll have a bit of saving and gathering and TC-expanding to do before mine are complete ^^;

TCs aside, how go the rest of your pets, got any WIP?

Haha the rest of my tc's are rather unimpressive. I've always tried to get away with as few items as possible. x) I'll probably have some saving to do too before I can get the last couple of items he'll need. But hopefully the time it takes to read the last novels will let me save enough.

coughs All except the two who have won spotlight are in one stage of wip or the other. My main focus recently has been Lanjelin but all he needs is his story rewritten and I haven't had any sudden inspiration forcing me to write it yet. Even though I basically already know what's going to be in it. ^^;

Sounds good, I mean hey, you've got two spotlights under your belt so that's a pretty good starting point. I've just been having a bit of a guilty snoop around your pets, I must say, they look fantastic. Ambroise has got to be my favourite (it was a hard choice), what a gorgeous profile!

Hm, well, all of them are currently in desperate need of attention in one way or another. Cinnabon and Curve are the only ones with complete overlays, art and profiles so far - their TCs are well underway as well. But they both need stories. I'm much more of a drawer than a writer though, so I'm currently working on the background image for Edwina's profile (I have the rough sketch up there now to act as a placeholder) and I'm really excited to finish that one up.

I really need to learn some more diverse coding though, all of my profile designs revolve layering divs ontop of a structured background image. ^^;

Hehe, and that profile isn't even mine. Well I made it, but it was a commission so it's not mine to use. I'm just too lazy to take them down again until I code the next one. Sadly Ambroise doesn't even have a character attached to her. ):

Pet profiles are a great way to try some new coding. I would know. That's how I learned to code. Although I still base my profiles around a background image.
