- well that was a weird plot. What did everyone think? I thought the timing every day was kind of horrible. 6pm seemed a random time to "start the day"... But, I enjoyed it overall & the puzzles were fun, but easy to figure out if you were having trouble. I'm glad the 2048 puzzle didn't make us go any higher 'cuz 516 is the highest I ever get, even when I was obsessed with it when it first came out.

Now that the plot is over, I'm back to trying to clear out my old gallery & get some achievements. Would someone mind sticking me with the stickers in my trades? Even one set would be a great help. :)

The ending was pretty unsatisfactory, but I figure it's because it's not over over, just over for the moment. Like that event is over, but the plot's not done, you know what I mean? I can't imagine Shinwa/the Oracle would just let Merana run around free. I did enjoy it, though, overall... though I enjoyed the puzzle part 10000000000x more than the "trail" part, the trail part was pretty lame and frustrating, imo.

I suck so bad at 2048, I'm not even sure how I got that key lol.

Hi guys :) I haven't been on neo in a while - I just get depressed that I can't afford anything I want, and that that I've got all the avs I'm probably ever going to get. (On neo I'm Middsky)

I enjoyed the plot, I am really bad at puzzles and stupidly didn't think to look for guides until the fighting had started. So by the time I got through the puzzles the 3 boss things had already been defeated, so I'm a bit annoyed at myself for missing out. But I liked the whole thing, and I'm a massive fan of 2048 as well and am looking forward to them bringing it in as a regular game.

I haven't been on neo in forever. I was going back to collect my interest and do Trudy, but I haven't even done that in a long time. I'm just so done with it.

Oh right, that was another thing that annoyed me about the plot, those damn boss battles. I only squeaked in on the tail end of the last one, and I consider myself damn lucky that I did! I think a lot of people missed out!

- the trail was definitely frustrating! I got my 5/5 most days, so it should be interesting to see what the prize & point structure is like when that comes out. I agree that it seems that this "event" is over, but the overall plot will continue... maybe through the upcoming seasons? I would love to see Merana cause a ruckus during Morostide/Fireside/etc.

Do you have tips for 2048? I just swipe down/left/down/left until I get stuck or frustrated & quit! I am interested to play it more on here, but I am sad because getting the achivement feels impossible.

Yeah I think I log in, zap my pets, check my stocks (once in a blue moon) and that's pretty much it. I was around about a year ago when the lag was so horrendous you couldn't do anything. It always just highlights to me how much I love subeta because if I want an item / pet / etc then I can save and I can get it. Whereas on neo I find it basically impossible to get anything or achieve anything.

And I've accepted <3 I can give you a hand with your stickers if you want. Normally I just get stickers for people so I don't know what the etiquette is in offering on peoples trades in order to do it? I'm not that good at 2048 but my general advice would be to take your time, there's no time limit or anything like that so don't feel pressured to just mash the keys. Also the new tiles will always be a 2 or a 4 so when you get down to only a few spare tiles think about whether there'll be another 2 or 4 for them to combine with... That's pretty much just how I play. I'm sure there are some good guides online :3

I liked the plot, especially the puzzles, but the team stuff got a little frustrating, especially with everyone complaining. I think it ended up where each team won 2 legs, right? So both teams should get trophies. Fine by me.

I agree on both points. Ending was wonky but I don't think it's really the END end. More to come at some point, because cliffhanger.

I still do dailies, but that's about it. One of my sides got frozen back in January and the ticket is still open and not even logged yet, so I've resigned myself to just losing that account. At this point, I am hanging on by a thread and it won't kill me to leave Neo.

My neo account is 12 years old. There's people in secondary school who weren't alive when I made that account. I leave neopets all the time, and haven't played regularly in years....but I just can't bring myself to delete it. And I'm sorry to hear about your side :( The customer service on neopets is non-existent, it's amazing that they're still running...if any other company ignored people in the way they do they'd be in serious trouble.

mine is 14 years so I get what you're saying. It's hard to just walk away.

~ I liked the plot, but I feel the end was rushed because of all the complaining. I felt so bad for your team after Team Steele (my team) got Esther. You just got HIT with bad weather, and then the movement glitch and when 1/2 your team gave up on, was it the questing. I'm having a bit of a brain fog at the moment.

~ I loved the trail part. I'm a big fan of Oregon Trail though. My husband and I were discussing the game mechanics behind Oregon Trail and he was of the opinion that nowadays the younger generations (I'm 35 for reference), have not experienced game play like that and get easily frustrated because game play has evolved to be so much better now.

You and I are the same age. :3 ...erm, actually I'm a year older. forgot that birthdays happen XD I loved Oregon Trail... I totally rushed through my typing lessons in middle school so I could play Oregon Trail and that's why I can't type properly... so I didn't so much mind the trail aspect as I did the team aspect. I feel that the nature of subeta is just... kinda bad for team-oriented activities. I felt the same way during the snowball fight.

Maybe I wasn't involved in the plot enough to notice but whas there really much of a difference in the experience of the plot depending on which team you chose? I went with Steele and was worried that I'd miss out on something by making the same choice...but it seems like apart from the trail stuff it was all the same?

~ Yeah it was pretty even overall aside from the trail, Gold had a slight advantage with numbers, but I think Team Steele had more people on during certain times of the day.

I ended up flipping a coin to choose! I'm terrible with making decisions. I find a lot of games really stressful if there's too much choice, I'm like, what if I make the wrong decision and miss out? It's silly because most of the time you can just go back and find out :P I've found I get a whole lot less stressful if I just flip a coin.

I liked the idea of more energy and time to explore over more money. I figured that would be an advantage. It helped that I have a lot of sp to begin with, so for me Team Steele was the easy choice.

I love your HA by the way - definitely fits in with the Team Steele aesthetic :)
