well i had work today. i'm not meant to work saturdays, i prefer to do sunday since it's so quiet you can have a really easy day XD but recently they keep accidentally putting me in on saturdays. just home now...and soooooo tired ;-; the general public can be horrible! but ah well!

no. i dont XD i had to laugh though, the first time it WAS an accident, it was a supervisor who did the rota, and she didn't know i was meant to get saturdays off, since our manager was away and took the availability sheet with her (silly manager), then the manager just copied the rota for the next week, so i said to her that i was working saturday and she said 'you never work saturdays! why are you on on a saturday?' and i was like 'you did the rota...you put me on to work a saturday!' so she apologised and said it wouldn't happen again. then i was on this saturday as well XD i didn't say anything this time, because i think there was a good reason for it, since my holiday starts tomorrow (sunday), and i'm away for a week, she had a limited number of days she could put me on to work, so she gave me saturday. but at least i get my full hours this week instead of missing out, so i dont mind. ^^ but if it happens again when i get back, she will get a talking to xD

if you got to the main forum page, then along the top are the different sections, and there is one for options, and under that there is one for editing your signature ^^

and the book was Fool's Assassin by Robin Hobb. She's my favourite author, I adore her so much, and I screamed with excitement when i realised she had written another book about my 2 favourite characters of any book, ever. And it did not disappoint! I was absolutely riveted! In fact, I was getting annoyed because I was trying to read before i started work, and people kept coming and sitting and talking to me, and all I could think was 'look, as much as talking is nice... I really wanna read this book!'

So there is a first book to a series of sorts? Is it something where you need to read the one first to know the characters?

well, I think this latest one makes some sense without having read the first 2 series, but you wont have as much of an attachment to the characters. the first series was the Farseer Trilogy, then the Tawny Man Trilogy, and this new series is Fitz and the Fool. At times her writing can seem a little slow, but for me, the characters and the detail of the everyday events is just so spectacular, nothing could happen for the entire book and I would still adore it XD but she is such a good storyteller, and always comes up with amazing storylines ^^
