He and yeah, Pekingese have that same like squished muzzle. XD His eyes are a little derpy but they were worse when he was a puppy. hehe

I've heard of that, like if you own certain breeds of dog, your home owners/renters insurance is higher. So unfair to target certain breeds like that. =( I've met a few pit bulls and they were the sweetest dogs ever, yet I've been bit by a poodle and a dalmatian.

He's Chihuahua and Pekingese but he's built like a Pekingese. Which is good considering he's only like 17lbs and my big red dog is around 75lbs.

Not to mention if you try to rent or own, many people will refuse because you have a pitty so you end up living in a dump just because you're intelligent enough to know that it's not the breed. eyeroll

You would be correct. XD Little lap dog is the king of the house. So funny how the little dogs always seem to be in charge.

It's their little dog complex. It can be changed but most people let it go.

Yeah, he's my first small dog, I always had big dogs before. I won't let my next little dog get away with the stuff I let him do though. Live and learn. XD

I've had a combination however once I started learning about animals I only had the one dog.

we've had 3 cairn terriers, two were the sweetest dogs ever, the 3rd was hell on 4 legs... we just got a new rescue dog a few months ago, he's a collie-german shepherd cross. he's such a handsome boy, and has the sweetest nature!

Riley has this huge ball, completely solid, and yet he still tries to fit his whole mouth around it, even though it will never happen. ever if he did dislocate his jaw XD but he thinks it's fun, he kicks it around the garden like a football (soccer ball), and barks at it because it wont let him bite it XD

those are pretty original names! i named my girl cody, just because it's a cute name.

yeah, i think it's pretty decent. i just wish they'd do something to ensure whoever gets a pitt (hell, even breeds like rotties / GSDs etc) would give the dog proper training. they're trying to make going to puppy training a mandatory thing for people who get a pitt here but that doesn't really help any of the dogs in the shelter.

the mandatory training is a recent thing because so many pitt attacks happened. i don't blame people for being afraid of them / other powerful dog breeds because even if the ratio of attacks is off compared to small dog breeds like chihuahuas, "dangerous" dog breeds can really do some damage. i just wish people would realise the responsibility that comes with adopting a strong dog.
