Eliza looked up at the sound of footsteps, and felt her heart skip a beat when she heard his voice. The new feeling she had when he was around her annoyed her, since she didn't understand it clearly (lol she just loves him, but she doesn't want to admit it XD). She looked up at him, her cheeks slightly reddening. "Oh, yeah, I'm alright," she said, throwing in a nervous chuckle.

"Okay." Brian grinned and swung their hands back and forth. "I'm pretty sure we've hunted enough. Let's take our prey and head back." He picked up his kills with his other hand.

Landin nodded." Alright... if your sure. You look like something was bothering you." Landin muttered a small smile forming on his face as he looked at Eliza.

Fawn nodded and smiled at him giving his hand a small squeeze as she walked away to pick up her own prey." I believe we are going to have more then any one...."

bic; Nathaniel looked around at the others, shrugged, and then started off on his own way. His skidded down a steep part of the mountain, scree giving way under his feet. He had only been walking for a few minutes when he heard something rustling. He raised one of his axes, and paused, listening carefully. He took a step towards the origin of the noise. He stumbled backwards when he heard a roar. A mountain lion padded out of a clump of scraggly bushes to Nathaniel's right. The puma looked straight at him, its amber eyes glinting. Then it snarled, and stalked away, down the mountain. Nathaniel swallowed, wiping sweat off his forehead. "That was close," he muttered, shaking his head. He turned around, heading back to the camp. "Not that way," he pointed in the direction he came back from. "There's a mountain lion. We should leave it alone." he said.

Eliza returned the smile trying to think of what to say. Then she gratefully looked up at Nathaniel when he announced that there was a mountain lion in the direction he had come from. Her smile dropped into a frown. "A mountain lion? Hope it doesn't attack us..." She gave a slight shiver at the thought of a lion chasing them.

(CANDY) Brian laughed. "Yeah, I bet we are." Then suddenly he tensed and stopped in his tracks. Something was padding towards them. Something large and not one to mess with. He stared in the direction he sensed the creature, straining his eyes, and then he spotted a lion. "There's a mountain lion over there," he muttered to Fawn. "Be careful. Don't make a big show."

OOC: Lmao when I was reading your post, I thought you wrote "pooted" instead of "poofed" and then I started cracking up...XD Lol excuse my weirdness XD XD XD

Fawn paused and turned to look at where Brian was looking. Her eyes widened as she saw the mountain lion stalking through the bushes. She let go of Brian's hand and slowly made her way closer to where it stood. She crouched low and took a rabbit she had shot. She took it and tossed it to the mountain lion and then turned back to Brian with a smile." They deserve to eat as well..."

- "A mountain lion? Hope it doesn't attack us..." Eliza said. "It probably won't," Nathaniel said, "...As long as we stay away from it." He added, smiling slightly. He looked up when a bird landed on a nearby tree. The tree was thin and twisted under the heat. He hurled his axe at the bird, and it flipped through the air, missing the bird by a few feathers. The bird flew away, cawing loudly. The axe was stuck deep in the tree where the bird had been moments ago. Nathaniel cursed and pulled his axe from the tree angrily.

Brian made a move to stop Fawn, in case the lion attacked her, but stopped himself. She would know what she was doing. He watched her carefully as she gave some of their prey to the lion, nodding in agreement. "Yes, they do."

Eliza watched Nathaniel miss the bird. "That was a good throw though," she said, not wanting him to be angry.

- "That was a good throw though," Eliza commented. Nathaniel shrugged. "Thanks." he said, slipping his axe into a hold on his belt.

Fawn smiled at Brian." You looked a bit scared there for a moment." She walked over and took his hand in hers and stood on her toes placing a small kiss on his lips." We should get back.

Eliza gave him a small smile. "Don't get too worked up over it..." she said. "We have time to hunt more...right?"

Brian smiled as she planted a small kiss on his lips. "Of course I was scared. That mountain lion could have attacked you." Then he nodded. "Yeah we should."

- Eliza gave Nathaniel a small smile and said, "Don't get too worked up over it... We have time to hunt more...right?" Nathaniel nodded, his face flushed from the heat. "Yeah." he said, returning a slight smile. "If we don't find anything, I still have some meat in my bag leftover from the forest." he added.

"Ok," Eliza said with a nod. "I'll go out and hunt...anyone care to join me?"

Sam came back from her little trip, holding a rabbit by its feet and a pouch full of different berries. "What's up?" She asked, setting her stuff down and popping a purple berry in her mouth.

- Nathaniel shrugged. "I guess I'll come," he said, turning around in time to see Sam back from her own hunt. A rabbit dangled from her hands, and she had a pouch full of berries. "What's up?" she asked. Nathaniel ran his hands through his hair and sighed. "There's a mountain lion back that way." he said, pointing behind him. "And you're the only one who's managed to find anything." he added.

Sam looked the direction he was pointing. "Well... Good thing I went that way," she tilted her head towards the opposite direction. "Berry?" She held out the pouch to Nathaniel, wondering if how he was feeling. She gathered from how he ran his hand through his hair and sighed that he wasn't feeling his best. "Hey, you ok?" She asked so quietly, she was almost mouthing it.

Eliza looked over at what Sam had collected. "Guess we don't need to go out then," she said to Nathaniel with a shrug. Then, watching Sam look like she wanted to talk to Nathaniel alone, she turned and headed in a different direction, wanting to give them some privacy. (might make something happen to her, but idk what)

- "Well... Good thing I went that way," Sam said as she tilted her head in the opposite direction. Nathaniel nodded. "Berry?" she offered him. "No thanks," he said, declining. "Hey, you ok?" Sam asked quietly. Nathaniel opened his mouth, and then paused and looked Eliza. Almost as if she knew what he was going to ask, she turned and left, giving them privacy. He turned to Sam. "I... I don't know," he muttered, sighing. He sat down on a rock, running his hands through his hair again; something he did often when he was stressed. "I don't want to kill anyone." he said after a moment of silence. "I did, before. My father made me. To show him that I wasn't weak. It was awful. I couldn't sleep for days afterwards, and I don't want to go through the same thing again." he gritted his teeth, and closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.
