Sam looked up at Eliza with a grin. "Much easier to run and get away from predators from down here," She often referred to enemies as predators. She pulled her long blonde hair to th side, then twisted it up. H hair was starting to get static-y and it was bugging her.

Landin stayed quiet as they stopped for the night. He dumped his bag on the floor, unrolled his sleeping sack, crawled in and pulled it over his head hoping to ignore the world.

bic; Aaron shook his head. ''No your not," he said, looking at her.

- Nathaniel glanced at Sam and Eliza when they started talking about who's place to sleep was better. He personally thought Eliza's was safer. More concealed from enemies, and high off the ground, out of reach from any wolves or other animals. Plus, it would be easy to jump out and run away if something tried to climb the tree. He yawned and set his bag on the ground, opening it and taking out a rope. He bent three saplings together and tied the rope around the top, then tossed his sleeping sack inside and sat down in the makeshift shelter. He didn't feel as if he'd be able to sleep, so the sharpened his knife silently.

Taih looked up at Aaron. She wiped away her tears out of embarrassment and quickly picked up the herbs and bowl. "Oh.. Aaron... I'm sorry.. Was I that loud?"

Eliza rolled her eyes at Sam. "No, it's much more easier to escape from up here. If like, a wolf or something tries to attack while we're up here, then we can stall up here or jump down at a safe distance away. I think it's more comfortable." She stared at the moon. "Plus it's more awesome up here....is anyone going to join me, or are you all going to stay down there?"

Landin looked out of his sleeping sack and sighed glaring over at where Nathaniel had built his shelter close to him. He rolled his sleeping sack up, and climbed up the tree with great difficulity since his stomach and shoulder still were tender but soon he was sitting next to Eliza in the tree.He glanced over at Eliza tiredly." I'm not up here to be nice... i just need to get away from him...." Landin said quietly. He was not in his usualy mood that was for sure.@mousepath10

- "No, you weren't. I never went to sleep, and I just heard a bang," Aaron said. "I guess that was the bowl dropping..." he looked at the stone bowl, then at Taih. "Are you alright?" he asked.

- Nathaniel scowled at Landin as he rolled up his sleeping bag and climbed up into the tree. I guess I'm down here on my own, then. he thought. Not that he wanted to sit next to Landin, he just didn't like sleeping up high, in trees. He felt as if he would fall out if he slept in one. After a few minutes, he spoke. "Well, we can't just all go to sleep. I'll take the first watch." he said, grabbing his knife and his quiver, before he sat down at the base of an oak tree, setting up a fire for some warmth. He took the first watch because he wasn't tired yet, and he didn't like being woken up in the middle of his sleep to sit and stay awake for a few hours.

Eliza rolled her eyes at Landin. "Thanks," she muttered sarcastically. She stared at the moon and murmured, "'Kay," to Nathaniel as he offered to take first watch.

Taih looked at Aaron, renaming quiet for a minute. She gathered her thoughts then put on a fake smile, "Nothing's wrong.. I just hit my foot.. And.. it hurt.." she said quietly. Taih began to fiddle with the herbs nervously, avoiding Aaron's gaze.

- Aaron glanced at Taih curiously when he noticed her fake smile. ''Nothing's wrong.. I just hit my foot.. and.. it hurt.." she said, quietly, starting to fiddle nervously with the herbs. She was avoiding his gaze. "Taih.... is there something else?" Aaron asked, catching her glance. "You seem nervous as well. Skittish," he added.

Taih looked at the floor, avoiding his eyes again. "I.. Think.. I.. Aaron?" she started, pausing before continuing, "Am I useless?" she asked, ready to give up if he said yes. That would tear her up inside. Knowing she truly was of no use to anyone or anything.

Sam watched Nathaniel for a while, not sayin anything. Just watching. She sighed and scooted down so she was lying flat, her head resting on a wide root with her little backpack as a pillow. She pulled her blanket ight around her and willed her teeth to sop chattering. S lhe was sure that it was so loud the others could hear and would be irritated-- idk --

- "Am I useless?" Taih asked after a while. Aaron looked at her, and then sighed. "Stop, Taih. Just... stop." he growled. "This is getting annoying. I'm not going to feel sorry for you, or anything,'' he rolled his eyes. "OK?" he snapped.

- Nathaniel glanced at Sam when she scooted down so she was lying flat, her blanket pulled tight around her. He blinked when he noticed her shivering. She was cold. He sighed and then opened his bag, pulling out a blanket. "Here," he said, before tossing it to her.

Landin just shrudged and brought his blanket out." Your right, the view is nice up here." Landin said looking up at the moon thinkning.

Taih just stared at Aaron, not really knowing what to say. She blinked then looked around, trying to ignore what he had said. She felt like an idiot. Taih shook her head then murmured, "I'm sorry Aaron.. Just.. You should go.. You should get some sleep..."

- "I'm sorry Aaron.. Just.. You should go.. You should get some sleep..." Taih murmured. "Fine." Aaron muttered gruffly, turning and going back to his own shelter. He scuffed his boot of the ground angrily and sat down on his sleeping sack, mussing his hair and running his hands through it, agitatedly. Great, she's probably never going to talk to me again... he thought angrily, sighing. He lay down, but found himself unable to sleep.

"Of course I'm right," Eliza said, flashing a grin at Landin.

Taih watched Aaron leave and shut her eyes. She hated herself at that moment. "I shouldn't have said anything.." she mumbled. Taih began to remix the herbs she had dropped, but with new herbs. She was trying to keep herself busy, biting her lower lip subconsciously.
