I wish to be the Ice that so Haunts me...
soooo sorry... I'll catch up, i've got recruitment this week for my sorority and have been matched with a sinus cold... i'm reading them now and will hopefully have something of more substance under these words before I fall asleep...
Ruga turned his attention to the rucuss, and snorted. "One is lost." he said as his perception caught a stray member, for he was like the sun, and the sun sees all. he turned his attention to Alena, whos human senses couldnt pick up the distant sounds of comotion. "The rest are together." he added, "you should go to the river. i can find the stray before you can." Ruga was not the condecending type, but he was very much a natural leader. In the life he lived in the other world, the name of which he had long forgotten, he had been a soldier in a, what were they called? Pawliss force? No, that could be right.. but it was close. He couldnt remember much about his previous life at all.. and that scared him. Reluctant to leave the comfort of Alena's embrace, Ruga brought himself out of her arms, and touched his muzzle to her cheek. "Be safe." he asked of her, and with that, he left to find the lost one. It didnt take long to pick up a scent, and it took less time to find its source. A tall (at least tall to Ruga), blonde-haired boy was wondering aimlessly toward the dangerous part of the wilderness. Ruga trotted with nothing but the faint sound of licking flames out in front of the boy. He stood broad side to the kid, showing the red, flowing tribals that magically tatooed his fur. Slowly, cautiously, he approached the boy.
Ila felt a hand, and gripped it for dear life. The river carried them both a ways, but some how, this other person got them into the shallower part of the water. Ila thought she could rest easy just as she felt the current begin to take them both again. Well she had had enough. By freak instinct, she took her free hand and pushed foreward, feeling something hard but soft impact her body, and push both her and her comrade up onto the shore. Once they were in safety, Ila lay there, panting, and thanking God for sparing her life. When she opened her eyes, however, she couldnt believe them. A mound of dirt and rock and sediment was freshly pushed up to were she and a pretty, blond girl now lay. Ila looked at her hand, then at the mound, and back at her hand again. realizing this blonde girl had come to her rescue, Ila touched her shoulder saying, "Are you okay?"
[i know its long, but i like long posts, personally ^.^]
“Clothes… Does it look like I got a readymade suitcase or emergency-backpack-full-of-clothes strap to me! I came in this cruddy Purgatory with nothing but the threads already on me and by some miracle I still have with thing in my pocket before I… wound up here!” Red merely demonstrated by twirling the switchblade around before he quickly nicked himself on his left finger and fumbled his only object straight from earth.
“Ow, freaking A… Well I guess we still bleed too!” Red grumbled unpleasantly as he bend over to pick up his fallen weapon and nursed his hardly injured figure by putting it in his mouth like any child would do. But then a girl came, armed a fairly large branch for protection, ready to attack only to be too catch in the awkwardness that is the scene of a boy in speedos and an immature metal-head with a booboo on his finger. “What the heck are you gawking at, Xena!” Even though he didn’t seen please to see the guy or girl but he was glad to know that there are other people stuck in this world like he is. Even though one is in a speedo and one armed with a twig.
But after a while he too heard the sounds of someone drowning as saw everyone whisked away to the rescue. He would have done so but then again he’ll probably nothing he could do for some else was doing the saving. “Yeah, I’ll just follow you guys…for emotional support or something.” He slowly took his time in to comes to playing ‘follow the leader’.
nope didn't work... fell asleep... but here it is finally c=
Dancing, of course that’s what she was doing, it's what she was always doing. It was normal for Sling to leave early for the studio, and practically dance all day, or what seemed like it. There was a recital coming up this time, so she had even more reason to be there. That morning Sling had woken up with an unusual headache. But as per usual, she brushed that off, leaving with a bottle of water and a breakfast bar.
Midway through the day, Slings headache still hadn't gone away, but as a true dancer, she danced through the pain. The last full thing she could remember was watching, studying her moves in the large mirrored wall in front of her before she simply collapsed. Like puffs of smoke quickly coming and going there were other little things Sling could remember. The soft sounds of sneakers running across the studio floor, the jumbled murmurs of panic. One that stuck more was of her sister. "I knew she'd die dancing!" Puck blubbered not caring that the doctors had actually said that she was just in a coma and wasn't going to die any time in the near present future.
Finally coming to Sling shot up, her eyes springing open. She didn't see the hospital, or her sister and dad like expecting. Nor did she see the studio. Instead she saw trees, all around, this wasn't normal. Trying to bush what little hair had fallen in her face she noticed branches and leaves all through out her hair, and yelling in the distance? Still in her dance clothes, consisting of a cropped t, baggy sweat pants, and a pair of neon Nikes, Sling quietly went in venture of the direction of the commotion.
Holly opened her mouth tot reply, she was nowhere near Xena, Xena didn't use a branch, Gabriel had been the one to carry a staff. "I'm looking at you two crazies!" she replied instead, thinking it'd be better to not show off her limited tv show knowledge. Deciding the shirtless one might need some help she looked down, thinking about what was under her shirt, she'd worn a sports bra today. "Tarzan, I doubt my shirt will fit very well, but if you want it you can use it." she said, picking at the bottom of the mint green t-shirt with her free hand. She wasn't used to sharing clothes with anybody, but being whisked away to some strange place wasn't exactly normal either. Shouts from behind her drew her attention before she could get a response, the offer still stood at least, even if she was distracted. "What is this, scare the bajeezus out of people?!" she cried, waving the branch around before shouldering it again. Holly again walked in the direction of shouts with little regard for her safety. "The only emotional support we is for a cut finger." She teased the one armed with a knife, aiming the comment over her shoulder before walking smack into a tree. She landed on her butt and lay there, thinking what the best way to handle the situation was before getting up and pretending nothing happened.
Rocks dragging beneath Elena back her to alertness, the other girl must have pulled them farther to shore. Gasping for air she rolled onto her stomach and spotted the large pile of river muck, "I'm alright, nothing like a swim to welcome you to a new place." It was meant sarcastically, but the gasps ruined the tone. "How did you do that?" she wondered, crawling over to the pile to inspect it. It was definitely done in the last few minutes, some of the bits and pieces were still wet. She turned slowly to face the other girl, shock in her eyes, what kind of person had she just saved? The thought raced around her mind, leaving her in a slight panic. Turning back to the rock pile she sat down in front of it, doubting that it would eat her, and needing to recover from their adventure. Other thoughts slowly came back to her consciousness, like if there were other people around, normal ones hopefully, but any type of civilization would suit her just fine.
Movement caught her eye, it must've been the guy that had called for help in the first place, "Over here!" she shouted, not bothering to stand up to show where 'here' was. She figured if the guy was visible to her, the earth girl and herself would be visible to him as well. That thought was followed with the realization that she was unarmed, her knife must have been swept away by the river. At least we have rocks she told herself, wearily grasping a few pebbles in her hand, just in case anything did happen with this new guy.

Name: Hellig Firnocht
Age: 22
Gender: male
Element: Metal
Appearance: As a human he is a lean 5’ 9”, all athletic muscle, made for stealth and speed. He has eyes that are as black as night and hair as red as fire. Beautiful but cold, he is a mysterious man that stands out in the crowd. His jawline in sharp, cheekbones high, with a straight nose and slightly slanted eyes. The only flaw of his face is the long jagged scar starting from above his right eyes and traveling down to the middle of his cheek. A few kisses of pale freckles decorate his cheeks, but his full lips are almost always curved in a dark sensuous smirk. He almost always were dark clothes, unless it is a white long sleeve shirt. Every move he makes is fluid and graceful, lithe and deadly. Hellig finds amusement were most would not and is more confident than most.

His teeth are long and sharp, like daggers, his claws pure white and hellish long. His paws are small, giving him more stealth than most, his ears long and sharp. His wolf also has a nasty scar on the right side of his face, just like when he was human.
History: Hellig is from San Francisco, a rather wonderful performer and sensual entertainer, a singer and a model. He’s not famous, yet anyway, but he does have rather adoring local fans. He’s fans lovingly call him The Dark Prince, his personality that of a charming royal with a lovely dark secret or two. The scar on his face is a bit of a mystery but his followers seem to love it anyway. Practically shameless, he admits that he’s a bit of a flirt, enjoying the company of anyone that takes his interest, no matter the gender. As for family, his mother is some big wig CEO and his father is gods know where sleeping with gods knows who. Most of his time is spend either preforming, lounging or clubbing.
Name: Alvania "Ali" Schnei
Age: 22
Gender: female
Element: Sound
Appearance: She is curvy and not shy about it. Standing at about 5’5” she is not as weak as she looks. With a warm and hearty personality, she likes to make friends and help others. Her hair is a long wavy auburn waterfall, shining like warm honey in the sun. Tan skin with a sprinkling of distant freckles on her arms, she is unique to look at. With a nose that holds much character and rather stormy golden brown eyes, her lips are bow-shaped and pretty, but not too full. Without make up she might look rather plain, but with smokey eye make up she resembles a sensual feline. She likes to trade off between styles, enjoying the dark confidence of gothic, but the gentle sweetness in indie. Most of the time she just gets lazy and throws on a pair of jeans with whatever shirt she can get her hands on.
As a wolf she is a husky-like mix, a white face with a mingling of grey and white on her body. Her strong legs are a pure white and her eyes are bi-colored, one green and one blue. Her teeth are just as sharp as everyone else’s, her claws black and rather short. But she has a strong jaw and an even stronger voice. A body built around sound, ever noise she makes she can manipulate with her will.
History: With a very German heritage, Alvania was always a stubborn kid. She didn’t like people who were mean but would try to understand the hardships people had to go through. Her home life was regular, with the exception of having a huge family, too many cousins and four older siblings. By no means was she the spoiled baby, but instead worked hard to earn most of what she had. Growing up in Georgia, she refused to take on the annoying accent, but often finds herself cutting words short to save time. Headstrong and a bit feminist, she’d rather land a good punch than take crap from an arrogant person.
Hellig didn't like it. Here he was trudging through the woods with a woman who said she was going through what he was, but had no idea who he was. This was not San Fran and he didn't like it. Alvania however seemed to just be curious. Shorter than her reluctant companion, she was built for the outdoors, sun-kissed skin hardly flushing at the extra effort while pretty boy over here was flushed and fuming. Hellig wouldn't tell her where he had come from or how he got there, he just said he got the illness and wound up here. So she said the same. Fever, dazing in and out only to remember the hospital and them bam, lights out. Of course what neither would tell one another was that they had both been awake, watching themselves fall to earth, but never hitting it. They opened their eyes one moment, falling, the very next, standing on the ground. They had fallen relatively near one another surprised that they were not alone in this dream. Till Alvania slapped Hellig. The pain was real. This was real.
Alvania wore dark jeans and a rather hippie looking shirt that fluttered about her arms. Her long golden auburn hair flowed behind her as she trekked through the woods and her curves got a smirk of appreciation from Hellig. That was about all though. Her face was plain enough, although Hellig thought she looked a bit... unique. Hellig on the other hand was a graceful kind of handsome. His bright red hair and sweetly freckled face left room for a bemused and almost everlasting smirk on his features. He was lean and fit, wearing black leather pants and a rather pricey looking black turtleneck with no sleeves. His jacket was slung over his shoulder. Both found the other out of place but interesting enough to look at. Hellig was like an angel with a devil's personality. Alvania was like a milkmaid with a spitfire's personality.
The trees towered about the two, whispering in the wind, streaming sunshine to light their path. That's when they heard the shouting. Alvania surged forwards, making Hellig follow with all of his grace and speed. What they found made them both a bit curious. A group of people, men and women both, some soaked and climbing out of the rushing river, some dry and complaining. Hellig's black eyes watched in interest, while Alvania bound forward towards those who had just come from the river.
"Are you guys alright?" her voice sounded odd. Too clear, too musical. Even though she spoke quietly, her voice rang out as clear as day. Even though she was speaking like she would with anyone, her voice sounded too pretty. It was soothing and gentle, warm and comforting. "Is there anything we can do to help?"
Hellig was a bit surprised at the woman's voice. It seemed to be... changing, if voices could do that. His cold steel black eyes shifted over each person in mild interest. Some loud punk, an amazon woman, a girl in sweats, a brown haired girl from the river, a guy in a speedo- what? Hellig stopped at the guy in the speedo, trying very hard not to laugh. The lithe feline-like male made his way over to the poor guy in a matter of moments, with all the grace of a sword dancer. He threw his jacket at the other male. "That's a good way to catch a cold," he smirked, black eyes glittering in amusement, red hair framing his face like a firey halo, "So does anyone who is not dying, know what we are doing in the middle of a forest?"
Alena nodded in reply to Ruga. She stood slowly and watched her wolf friend run off to find the lost one. A cool breeze rustled through her long black hair once more before she set off, walking straight through the trees, one of many things she could do with her "ghost" powers. It was long before she came to the river's edge, across the way from all the others. What should I say? She heard one of the boys speak up, asking what they were doing in the middle of the forest, and decided to go off that. But, first, how to cross the river without frightening them. She shook her head, she couldn't swim so she would have to cross that way. "I know why you all are here." Her voice was soft, eerie, but effective, not quiet like it normally was. She carefully gathered her tattered skirt in her hands and began to carefully cross the river, on it's surface, as if it was land. She now stood calmly in front of the new heroes. They would win this time. Her and Ruga would make sure of it.
Jupiter ran up to the two girls who had involuntarily gone for a swim. "Are you ladies alright?" He asked, kneel down to where they laid, and placing a hand on each of their shoulders. His touch was warm, and there was a flicker of light as his hands made contact with the girls. Any pain that the two women may have been feeling fled their bodies instantly at his touch. He quickly took his hands back. "Sorry." He spoke, not having meant to touch them to begin with. He watched as the others emerged from the forest, and then watched as the strange girl crossed the river over to them like a ghost.
"Well I was only asking, no need to be a prick about it," Lee rolled his eyes at the man, he didn't seem younger than Lee himself but had the attitude of a five year old. He crossed his arms in annoyance, he was freezing and there was clearly nothing he'd be able to do about it for the time being. Mumbling something about the strangeness of the situation he almost missed the other man make fool of himself. Showing off always got people in trouble, and this time it came in the form a of a nicked finger and a foolish looking man. Lee let out a bark of laughter, he didn't think death was an option for them anymore and therefore the man's threats of death were no longer an issue.
A girl moved out from between the trees, Lee hadn't seen her arrive so caught up was he in arguing with a fool. He breathed out a laugh, "Strange is one way to put it, um..." he ran a hand through his hair slightly embarrassed for having to ask the question he was about to ask, "are we dead?" he surveyed the other's faces, though it didn't seem like they had thought it a possibility that they'd died.
He looked around, distantly he heard the sound of a stream the conversation of others followed by loud splashing. Whatever was going on over there perked his curiosity, if there was water and someone was hurt he was the clear choice to be the savior, after all he was Lee swimming extraordinaire headed towards Olympic greatness. Or he was headed towards Olympic greatness, whether he was dead or in a coma he'd have no chance at the glorious gold now. "Look, I don't remember much except that I was in a pool and I drowned, why am I here?" as if the other two would know, but he'd thought just in case they did he might as well voice his questions.
, dark hair.. my bad lol
"I-I dunno.." Ila stammered in response to her savior. she sat there, just as baffled as her counterpart. After a moment, people just kept appearing. there were just so many, but none of them had done anything like what she had just done. When the Indie looking girl approached her with a voice that could melt any heart, Ila couldnt help but stare. This gorgious girl was asking if she was okay, "yeah, I-" was all Ila could manage to say. She was simply captivated. Even her infatuation was drawn away, as seemingly everyone's attention went to the newest figure. she glided like a ghost over the water, and once again, all Ila could do was stare, but this time it was simple awe. Now she didnt feel like such a creep, being the only one with super powers.. "look" she said to the others around her as she pointed to the ghost woman.
[ill post for Ruga when posts.]
((I'll let know, since I live with her.))
"Well this is an interesting predicament" Sling said aloud coming upon the clearing and the two interestingly dressed men. Not that she looked much better in her dance attire. "Excuse me?" She questioned without fear of the two clearly taller men. Sling some how failing to notice the girl with the branch but hearing the splashing and commotion in the distance. "Well there might be more people close by in our situation."
This whole experience was rather confusing, all that kept playing through her head was her sisters voice, the last thing she remembered before she woke up here. She was glad to see that she wasn't alone, being able to read the confusion on the others faces.
((Sorry! I didn't realize it was my turn!!!))
Alvania looked up and turned a bit white when she saw the girl float across water. What did Dorothy use to say? "Toto, we aren't in Kansas any more..." Alvania's honey hair swirled softly over ehr shoulder, her doe-eyes watching every move the ghost girl made. This girl had come rom no where and was walking on water. But she knew why they were here. Alvania was kneeling by Ila, but now she stood protectively in front of the other girl, shoulders squared and braced for anything. Her voice was soft, eerie, but oddly clear for all to hear. Alvania shuddered a bit. Ghosts were one of her biggest fears.
Hellig jumped when Jupiter ran but he didn't pay much attention to what he was doing till he saw the light from the other boy's hands. That got hi attention. "We're not going to be rounded up for some alien experiment, are we?" he couldn't help but muttered. That was him, always the ridiculously snarky one. "Because I'm pretty sure if we can bleed, we can die here. But I'm with Speedo here, where are we and why are we here?" Hellig heard yet more people and he ran a hand through his rad hair, the scar running from his right eyes to the middle of his right cheek very visible. "I'm mean come on!" he groaned, "Ghost girls, naked men, drowning amazon women?! Please just tell me this is a coma-dream!"
Just then he felt a cool shudder go through him. He was getting upset and it was like ice water flowed through his veins. Slowly he felt a tingle across his skin. Looking down, he watched as metal slowly creeped up from his fingertips, turning his hand into a shiny metal.... well, hand. The faster and more panic he got, the high the metal crept. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath, then let it out. "I can turn into metal like that guy from X-Man...." his voice wavered, "Was ist nächste? Wunderbar...."
Elena flinched at the boy's touch, but relaxed her her aches went away, it was a strange feeling. Two people approached them, the girl asked if she was okay in an impossibly lovely voice, she didn't know how to reply. Elena's eyes darted towards the complaining one, watching as his hand slowly turned into metal then back to the woman crossing the water, the voice coming from her sounding a bit frightening. Her grip tightened on the rocks, how did the lady know who they were? There were so many unexplained things that had happened in such a short time, there was the unexplained sediment pile, the water lady, and the metal hand, not to mention the obvious of getting transported here in the first place. "I don't think we're having a coma-dream, I think this is real." she told the panicked guy. Her voice was barely more than a whisper, but she hid her fright well. She stood up next to the voice-girl, seeing as she had the intent to defend the others, and she was usually welcome to a fight, even if the odds were against her. The rocks in her hand heated up, causing Elena to be distracted, they were getting unnaturally warm, but she didn't feel any pain. It was like turning the shower on high heat and forgetting about it. Glancing down at her hands, small green flames, like burning copper, danced around her fingertips "Definitely not a dream." she added, her other hand had flames as well, she brought those fingers up for inspection rather than dropping her rocks.
Holly reached the river bank in time to see the female figure cross the river, her words sounded comforting if a bit ominous. There was a small group of people huddled together that she seemed to be heading towards. "You're just full of all sorts of problems." she teased him for lack of much else to do. "If we were going to be rounded up, we'd be caught by now." she added, keeping an eye on the emerging people and the one crossing the river. The branch was getting painful on her shoulder so she swung it down, using it as a crutch to lean on. She wished it was tall enough for a staff, but that'd be too easy. Looking around she thought about all the strange things going on. The lady crossing looked to be in different and older clothing than the rest of the group. "Are we in another universe?" she asked the river lady, blinking her eyes slowly and in hopes that she was right, it would make some of today's recent events more reasonable.
((Sorry guys, been a busy weekend for me, and , I'll have something up by this time tomorrow.))
Another female entered the clearing bedecked in what appeared to Lester to be a dance costume. One of his ex-girlfriends was a dancer and he'd been forced to go to more than one showcase where she would dress up as a fairy or a princess, always something delicate. She'd spin and twirl for a couple of minutes and return sweaty. He always found himself bored of the sport but you couldn't doubt that dancing was an insanely demanding sport much like swimming. "Excuse me what?" Lee scratched his shoulder in confusion, he hadn't seen the girl before now, he'd only taken note of the girl with the branch.
The distant sound of trouble reached his ears, Lee turned to face the sound. He wanted to go help but knew every step he took would add more splinters to the mounting amount on the soles of his feet. "Great more people to witness this humiliation," he gestured at his barely clothed body, "It's alright, I got the bod, lets check it out" He began to walk in the direction of the commotion.
Alena watched as the group came together and began to notice her one by one. She bit her lip lightly as she came to stand on the shore's edge with the rest of them. "Please, calm down." She spoke softly, noticing powers awakening to their masters' panic. She bowed her head slightly, wishing that one of these new heroes hadn't gotten lost so that Ruga could accompany her. She cleared her voice lightly, not used to having to talk so much. "Please, I know why you are here." She took a deep breath getting ready to set into her explanation. "You have all been gathered here to act as heroes for your world. If you recall, people have been dying left and right in your world. A strange sickness that plagues mankind has been taking over. However," she braced herself to explain the really odd parts, "the source of this disease takes place on another plane. Which, is where you are now. Your spirits have been transported here through an unknown source to rise against the evil that threatens your very existence. Your bodies remain in your world in a coma like existence while you battle here. As spirits, you have been blessed with magical properties that had laid dormant in your mortal life. But, to have a physical form here, you have also been cursed." She looked frantically away from the group of heroes towards the setting sun. She feared she wouldn't have enough time to explain before night took the warmth of day away and these people would take the form that they've been cursed with.
Jupiter blinked lightly, listening to the ghost girl in a strange panicked but calm way. He didn't understand any of this. But, powers? Could that've been what the flicker of light was from his palms? What had it done? Had it hurt the two girls? He stayed quiet and listening as questions bumped against the inside of his skull. ((I don't know when will be able to reply. :/ It might be best to move on without her soon, if she doesn't reply.))
