Tamaria heard mental screaming and she immediately focused her attention towards it. "What's this?" She mentally called out to his roomate. Sebastian needs help. You are closer to him than me. She immediately made preperations to recieve the boy in one of the training rooms. It was the best room she could find in case he shifted again and yet was comfortable enough that he could rest. Mentally setting out a pair of clothes, she began to rush down the stairs.
Kera smiled. "Thanks. Haven't had a decent meal in days." She went over and grabbed a plate, doing her best to take things slowly and not rush into eating the food. She even used utensils instead of her hands like she would have on the streets. She peeled off her jacket as her body immediately began to warm up to process the fuel. She was a very skinny girl, mostly from lack of nutrition.

Hunter was confused by the voice. 'Why does he need help in the bathroom? Unless...' He looked out the window and gasped. Running as fast as he could Hunter made his way down stairs and through the halls. "Sebastian!" He shouted as he rolled Sebastian over. He noticed the bruising on his forehead and it looked to go further back. He lifted the helpless guy as high as he could and began to drag him into the school.
"Haven't eaten in days?" Nicole asked, wondering why she hadn't. Didn't Kera have a family?
"Not unless you count roasted squirrel." Kera laughed and ate the food as neatly as she could manage.
Tamaria rushed down the stairs and saw the boy. "Is he ok?" she asked her brown robes fluttering. Her green eyes were serious and jet black hair hid most of her face as the breeze kicked up. She went to assist the boy who was carrying Sebastian.

"I don't know, he's not responding and he has obviously hit his head pretty hard." Hunter thought to the loud bang that hit the window. "Oh my gosh, I think he hit the window!" Hunter felt horrible, he didn't even check to see if the bird was okay, and it turned out it was Sebastian. "I'm a horrible person!" Hunter cried out into the air of the hallway.
"Roasted Squirrel? Don't you have a family?" Nicole's eyes filled with concern.
Tamaria knelt by Sebastian. Sebastian...can you hear me? She whispered mentally. "Let's get him inside. There is a training room at the end of the boys dorms. I made sure that the bed was pulled out and it should be comfortable enough for me to bring him back. Everyone else should be almost asleep by now so I'm the only staff member avaliable at the moment."
Kera looked down and pushed some mashed potatoes around on her plate. "Dad abandoned my family close to my birth. There was a car accident when I was five. My older brother and mother died in the accident. I was the only survivor." She got up off the bed and chose some chicken from the cart. She had already started hoarding the apples in the bottom drawer of the dresser. There was no way she was just gonna leave good food on the cart. Kera put a few oranges in the bottom drawer to join the apples.

"I'm so sorry," Nicole mumbled as she held on to her small plate of food. "My brother hardly remembers his family. My family took him in, I'm sure they would except you in the family too if you're interested." She pushed back a lock of her silky, chocolate-brown hair and smiled at her.
"Yes, ma'am!" Hunter said pulling him into the training room she had mentioned. "Do you think he'll be okay when he wakes up?" He looked at the bruise. "If he wakes up?"
Kera snorted. "Naw. I'm more a lone wolf kinda gal. Besides, now I get to live in this cool mansion with other gifteds."
Tamaria nodded. "He's still alive. I'm not worried bout the physical injuries. The mental ones are bound to be more severe. Shifter's seem to always have this problem." She mentally shifted the bed closer to the door and turned on a lamp. Then she closed the drapes over the window and turned back towards Sebastian.

"Mental injuries? What do you mean by that?" Hunter asked squeezing the piece of paper that was in his jacket pocket.
Nicole frowned. "What happens when you leave the school, where will you go?" She imagined Kera living out in the streets hunting rabid squirrels and catching rats for dinner. She felt sorry that she had to live on her own for so long.
"The shock of it all would stun him." Tamaria said. "Now quiet so that I can work." She drew on her telepathic powers and spoke to Sebastian. Sebastian...wake up now.
Kera shrugged. "I've always wanted to see parts of the world."

My head hurts... I don't want to open my eyes. Sebastian's body twitched and a small whine escaped from his throat.
Nicole smiled. "Well, as long as someone is there for you. wouldn't want you getting hurt."
If you wake up then you can take something for your head Tamaria focused on pouring some hot water for herbal tea. I have it right here

Sebastian's eyes fluttered open and he coughed. I can't take it, I can't swallow. He grabbed at his throat and turned his head.
Yes, yes you can. Tamaria grabbed the cup that had the herbal tea in it.

BIC: Sebastian accepted the fact that he had to take the herbal remedy had made for him. Thought he disagreed of the fact that it could possibly be something...deadly to him.
"So Kera, do you want to go shopping in our free time? I mean we have times on the weekend, since the school hours are so long." Nicole folded a t-shirt she had pulled from the delicate mahogany backpack that she tended to carry with her wherever she went.
Tamaria lifted the cup to Sebastian's lips, tilting it so that the herbal tea slid down his throat.
Kera nodded. "Well, I suppose. We can go to a thrift store. When I get too excited, I tend to burn my clothes. So some cheap stuff will work."

Nicole smiled. "Of course, there's a lot of places like that downtown." She never would have thought that someone could burn their own clothes. But being a special was different, and her abilities weren't even as strange as Nicole's.
Sebastian sputtered and coughed, pushing the Vice-principal's hand away from himself. He was positive that some of the tea spilt on him, but he didn't care. he only cared about finding a way to get all of his bones and muscles to stop aching as badly as they were.
Kera grinned. "Awesome. Hey I wonder if someones gift in here is sewing flame proof clothes...dude, I would love to not be running around on fire and naked when I get too excited." She plopped down onto the bed and put her arms behind her head. "Wow, this is awfully comfy." She thought about the little hut her Gifteds gang shared and the torn up and rotted mattresses they used that came from salvage yards.
Tamaria lifted Sebastian's head. "Relax."

"That would be awesome. Maybe we could find someone who can do that!" Nicole wondered if someone could make something that doesn't nearly shred when metal touched it.
Sebastian shook his head slightly. He did not want to drink any more of the odd-tasting liquid. He had never liked tea, and doubted he ever would.
