Tamaria sighed and telepathically sent the next batch of letters down to the mail room.
Kera signed and stuck her tongue out at people as she left the room. Then she boarded her skateboard and took out some gear to equip to the sides of the board. These tools would change her fire into a sort of propulsion for her board. Allowing her to practically fly down the hallways.

"You ever knock before entering a room?" A dark figure muttered, laying on a bed and rolling over. "I'm sorry, I didn't expect you to be in here yet." Hunter set his bag in the corner of the room that was left untouched and sat on the bed opposite of the mysterious Sebastian. "So, Hunter right?" Sebastian questioned sitting up and into the small stream of light that entered the room. Sebastian's hair was dark and his hazel eyes held much emotion in them. He held out his hand for Hunter to shake. "Sebastian Schatten, at your service." Hunter shivered at Sebastian's dark undertone. "Uh, yeah." he shook his hand and pulled away nervously. "You're not afraid of me are you?" Sebastain smiled evily.
Kera aimed a stream of fire at her propulsion packs and began to speed down the hallways, racing towards her room.

"Watch where you're going!" Nicole shouted as a fiery figure sped past her she grunted and threw her back over her shoulder. With her head held high, she continued walking down the hallway, glancing at doors as she went.
Hunter shook his head. "To be honest I am scared of you." Hunter slid back further and towards the wall. "Yeah, I figured. I tend to make that impression on people." He pulled up a blanket from under his bed and tossed it at Hunter. "The beds didn't come with their own blankets. I brought a few and if you need more just ask." "So what's your power?" Hunter asked politely, now knowing that Sebastian was a compassionate guy. "My power? I'm not completely sure yet - I didn't exactly get them naturally. someone applied me here without me even knowing." He looked out the window. "It's kind of creepy if you think about it."
Kera laughed maniacally and stopped at her dorm room. Her name was on a plaque by the door and she didn't even care to look at who she was romming with. She just hoped they weren't a wimp. She chose a bunk and set her stuff on a dresser at the foot of her bed. She unpacked the few possessions she had as she was an orphan at an early age. She had narrowly escaped the Foster system and had joined up with a pack of street Gifteds. They all shared a mailbox but as far as she knew she was the only to be accepted. The others tended to be 'lone wolves'.

Nicole stopped as she realized that she was rooming with the odd girl she saw earlier. She sighed in agony and opened the door grumpily. "Hi, looks like were rooming together." Her spirits dropped. It was going to definitely be the worst school year she'd ever had.
"Wow, I thought the toxic waste and stuff like that was only in movies." He closed his mouth after getting a harsh glare from Sebastian. "I'm sorry." He muttered looking back down at his feet. Sebastian shook his head. "Whatever, you didn't do it on purpose." He opened the curtains that he had obviously taken time into putting up. He knew a kid like Hunter would never survive for so long in the dark, and seeing as he was creeping him out it was a good idea.
Kera was already unpacking her very few changes of clothes. "Well, hey. Yup looks like we are. I'm Kera." Kera yawned. She was actually a very warm and compassionate person, problem was she was so much like the fire that she had been gifted with. She was a spitfire and loved adventure. Kera proceeded to pull out a very worn and weather stained book, a small mirror, and a brush that was missing several teeth. She hoped that her small bag of coins would get her some new clothes so that it wasn't obvious she had been living on the streets. She put her two pairs of worn jeans and three shirts into the dresser drawers.

Nicole stared at the torn and half-decrepit clothes and items she placed everywhere. She threw her backpack on to her bed and set out her clothes. Most of them were expensive since her family was practically rich. "You want to borrow some of my clothes?" She thought next not really sure if offering was in anyway a good idea.
Kera looked down after seeing the clothes she had brought. She was ashamed of her situation. "Maybe. But I'm sure I can round something up."

"You really need some new clothes, I can take you to go shopping. My family lives around these parts and were pretty much royalty. I'm sure I can afford something better for you." Nicole handed Kera her comb. "This will help a little bit." Since Nicole was a petite size she wasn't sure if Kera would even fit in her size of clothes.
Gray had sat there for at least an hour, and no one had entered the same room as him. 'Maybe there's an uneven amount of students. Or I'm paired with a school rebel... I could set them perfectly straight.' He held the book he was reading close to his face and continued reading it, though he for once felt lonely. Maybe that kid was actually influencing him. Nah, no one could ever make Gray feel at home again. He missed his real family and his real friends, but the reality that he would never see them again was bothersome.
Kera smiled. "Welllllll.." she said longingly. "Maybe." She wondered if she could really trust this girl. "What's your name anyway?"

"Nicole, but if you want you can call me Nicky, though I'm not really fond of it." She chuckled as she thought of how when she first met gray he couldn't even speak English. he called her Nicky since he struggled with the last part, now she was used to him not talking at all. He was nicer when he hadn't started to remember his past.
Gray finally walk out of the door and looked at the plaque, no name was written there but he couldn't be so sure that a name wouldn't pop up.
Hunter sat up suddenly and rubbed at his eyes. "Ugh, how long was I out?" He had fallen asleep in the silence of the room earlier. "Only about twenty minutes." Sebastian murmured, as he pulled on his jacket. He expected Hunter to ask where he was going. "I'm gonna go hit the lou, catch you later." Hunter tilted his head slightly. 'I thought he was German, not Australian.'
Kera nodded. "My power is fire what is yours?"
Arriana went down to the kitchen and ate some food.
"Arriana? What are you doing?" Arriana's mom wandered into the kitchen to ask her.

"It's kind of hard to explain, so I'll show you instead." Nicole flexed slightly and her body suddenly shifted into the form of metal. "See what I mean?" She shifted back and relaxed. "I've almost figured it out all the way, but it's difficult to control."
Sebastian left the room and pulled on his jacket's hood. He walked down the hallway and stopped at the bathroom, sneaking out the window and heading into the direction of the forest. He jumped from the window and landed painfully, twisting his ankle on the way. Running as quickly as he could, he found his way to the chain-linked fence and climbed. He leapt down and grunted in immense pain.
Kera smiled. "I got a feeling we're gonna be good friends."
Arriana smiled through the bite in her mouth and mumbled "Nothing." Around her food.
"I thought you went for a walk." Arriana's mother said.

Nicole smiled and puffed out her chest. "Well, I am pretty awesome!"
Sebastian stopped under one of the large conifers and grabbed his ankle. It was probably just twisted, but with him still moving on it it could brake in a heartbeat. Sebastian took of his shoe and looked at the immense amount of swelling that was occurring on his right ankle. He jumped when he heard the deafening howls of wolves. Closing his eyes, Sebastian hoped that he would not be devoured by the wild beasts. When Sebastian opened his eyes, everything looked severely different and almost like he was looking through a fish lens. He examined him self and gave a screech of horror, he had shape-shifted into a raven. Sebastian flapped his new-found wings and made his way, lopsided, towards the Academy.
Arriana smiled and swallowed her bite. "I did but then this weird squirrel kept talking to me..."
Arriana's mom looked puzzled but shook her head and left the subject untouched. "That must have been a bad headache. You feel better now?"
Kera put her few belongings on top of the dresser at the foot of her bed after having put away her clothes. Then she jumped at the sound of someone knocking on their door. She went to open it and her eyes went wide at the sight of a food cart. "Lady Tamaria sends food down to you." The woman who was pushing the cart said.
Kera thanked the woman and looked at the cart like a half-starved animal.

Nicole was amazed at the food that came into the room. "Wow, all this? That's pretty neat of her."
Sebastian flew at the window, not realizing it was closed, and hit it hard. He felt like he had fallen a hundred stories by the time he had landed on the ground. He felt his body shift back, and he gave a groan. He couldn't move, the pain was too much and now he was positive that he had broken a bone. He tried to cry out for help, but the best he could do was choke and sputter.
Tamaria paced her rooms. Each student was practically yelling mentally and she, who was unused to being around big crowds, had yet to learn how to cope with that. Breathing, she focused on letting those that were unimportant get drowned out. She had sent food to those who she felt were hungriest. She had also sent someone to clean up the hallways in the school after the distruction.
Kera closed the door and sat on the bed. She had never seen so much food before. Normally Steven would have just stolen some from the hot dog vendor when he wasn't looking. But hot dogs got old after awhile. And pretzels were not exactly 'delicacies'. Kera laughed and grinned as she thought about the food.

Nicole looked at Kera. "Well, dig in! you look like you could use it more than me anyways."
Sebastian gasped as he attempted moving closer to the door. He started to cry from the stress of being left outside, and the new cuts and bruises didn't help. He army crawled a little further before completely giving up. 'Please, help me. Someone, anyone, I don't care just get me inside!" He let his head hit the ground gently, his brain suffering the consequences of hitting the widow. 'If I just rest, perhaps? Maybe if I wake up I'll feel better. No, I can't! I have to keep going.' he began to drift off, trying to force his body to stay awake.
