I've been sick to my stomach for days, now. :( I keep having to take Gravol and so I'm drowsy as hell, but at least it helps with the nausea. I slept for a lot of today. xD I keep getting hot and cold and it's not fun. :(
Ouch, that sucks. my fiance keeps telling me to carry gravol with me when i go out just in case cause i get nausea very easily even when i am not sick. I never do though :/ lol
When I got sick I ordered chicken rice soup from the Chinese restaurant. It was sooo good, but since I did it for like a whole week I can't even think about the stuff anymore. I like their crispy noodles..
I also take nyquil/dayquil/clariten and if i'm not on a 'quil' i take tylenol. I also drink a buttload of orange juice
that sounds delicious! ive never had crispy noodles in a soup before.
Yo get better soon too! Thank you,

My mother's cold remedy when I was young was usually
congee( It's pretty much the chinese equivalent to Chicken soup... ) My mother also has a tendency to ply me with lemonade( sweetened with honey usually) and ginger soup during colds too.. enough that to the point I'm literally spilling lemonade out of my gills.. -_-;
and
oddly enough hot ice tea( usually of the lipton lemon powder variety)
I haven't had the tea in years, but once it starts getting cold out I always end up having urges for congee usually. Oh and before I became vegetarian Chinese Chicken herbal soup. i.e. this stuff: image
Living on my own though I usually just ingest theraflu.. a lot of vitamin C( usually in the form of stuff involving oranges..( orange juice.. and lots of it) and airborne.
Oh and making myself congee... because that's usually what I associate with comfort food.
Wow that sounds interesting. Neat how your mom got you into these things and you stuck with it, normally when my mom trys i dont exactly follow cause im stuburn as hell.
I know some people have year round colds, i found it weird that they got them in the summer cause its the hottest and not even that cold.
