I've got some clothes, my laptop, and my pets. The rest of my possessions are probably still underwater. But I know where my family is, and where my friends are, and for that I am grateful.

Reading about this last night caused me to have a dream that our area was flooding... It was pretty scary. I'm lucky I get to wake up from that, I'm so very sorry to those who lost houses, and even loved ones.

I have to say, even with all the rain and flooding, the background is really quite beautiful...it reminds me so much of my home up north. Really beautiful location, there. I hope once all the horrible weather subsides that you guys enjoy a bright and beautiful summer.

I'm in Michigan, but I'm wearing my Canada hockey shirt for you guys for good luck today. It was raining pretty damn hard here earlier too. I had to drive to work in it and it took me a half hour to go a normal 15 minute distance. Got soaked going inside too, because this idiot don't got no umbrella. XD
