yeah i know what you mean. several family members of mine are like that so i have comic books from over 30 years ago here at my place. i've been a fan myself since i was little and somehow (it's painful to say this) i'm happy that the avengers movie brought so many fans into the world. i'm no longer aloooooone..

There's absolutely nothing wrong with people who haven't read the comics. I only have an issue with people who try to include comic-references but haven't read them... Like people who use mythology references in roleplays and fics, and have only read about it in other fics. But generally, Avengers fans are pretty awesome; I really love them. xD
I know that feeling! I wasn't in the fandom that thickly before the Avengers was released, mainly because I had no fandom social media contacts. I didn't have LJ - or Tumblr until about a year ago, but it's so much easier now I have at least one means of contacting other fans! I mean, even subeta is awesome.
Also, with my last post, I accidently clicked the post button just because it happened to be where my mouse was xD I didn't want to post something half-finished, and so I edited it pretty damn fast. XD

Thank you very much~ And yes, I noted. xD I sort of like the flexibility of Spider, but Moriarty's one of my all time favourite characters. Villains are just fun~

The films are fine! Nothing wrong with that, i'm not a supremacist. Yes I have indeed! It took me until season two was about a month? off starting to watch it, because I was kind of apprehensive, but my friend was really into it, so I gave it a shot. It's really fabulous, I love the acting and cinematography, it's really inspiring, almost. Plus, I've always been a bit Dr Who fan. :D
