I don't feel that it's appropriate of me to jump in and act like I know what's going on...so I end up lurking. Lurking helps me study how people talk and interact with each other. We all want to be individuals, but we all want to fit in too. It's tough finding the right people on here! I guess a good way to overcome this is by making posts and trying to relate to people now and then. Joining a cult is a good idea to start out with making friends. The bigger ones, I feel, make it easier to be overlooked, like how you felt in DI. I don't think it's on purpose, it's just that there are so many members and posts that yours is easily swallowed up. Although, you could start a new non-specific cult because many users may feel this loneliness too :)

Actually, as I was reading your post, I felt like I could make (or find) a cult for people who are like me, you and some of the others on here, who are a bit shy and unsure how to start a conversation or join a conversation. However I have no idea how that would work or how to go about it. DI was nice, but yea its huge. Can I see your artwork by the way? I'm interested c:

I think cult revamp achieved the status of an urban legend by this point. Everyone knows about it but nobody believes other than a few headcases P= I couldn't really be a moderator, I don't think I can do more than one responsibility at the time. Would just end up in me being late with everything. In fact I AM late with everything at this precise moment. Oh well XD Truth be told I'm not sure how many people I can manage full time without shorting someone and feeling horrible about it so there is also this reason that stops me from being very social. Besides, I sincerely believe that other people steal my life energy, haha.

I suppose it would take a bit of advertising like a billboard :) I'm in a restocking cult of 7-8 people right now and it's taken a few months to get that amount (although we don't advertise very much as far as I'm aware..) this is my tumblr that has some of my stuff that is either a work in progress or experimenting. I just posted the CW that I want to make a reality but ahhhh, he needs work. I'll probably make him bigger too because right now he's super small.

I love going to a local con, but haven;t been able to in the past two years because of school work. This might be the year that I just say "WHATEVA" and go. I've cosplayed as Chi from Chobits, Misa Amane from Death Note, and Riza Hawkeye from FMA! If I do release him he will have multiple colors, so a black tux, a blue tux, and a grey tux with bowties and tophats to match! Bahhh, we shall see.

I LOVE cosplaying. Actually I'll upload some of my favourite cosplays. I'v not cosplayed much, but I just love it. Its so much fun and I feel like Im never judged when I'm at a convention. Do you have any photos of your cosplays? I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your little guy <3

Yesss, I love the feeling of dressing as one of my favorite characters in public and being praised for it, even having strangers take pictures! It's such a wonderful feeling :) I can't wait to see your cosplays!

Omg they are amazing! FMA.. I really need to watch it more properly, I have seen maybe 3 or 4 episodes. My mum watched one of the anime in 3 days. I like having my photo taken when in cosplay. Normally I shy away and like to stay hidden, but I dunno when in cosplay I really want to show off.

you could also just take a hiatus to see if you like it. you dont have to completely decide that you want to leave and then freeze your account, you could always just stay away for a couple of weeks. you might end up missing it and come back :) tbh i use the forums more often than my friends and i talk on a regular basis (with the exception of two or three), there's nothing wrong with not having many friends :P especially here, because you can get to know a lot of people just from seeing them around since we have a fairly small userbase. thats another reason why i've stayed ^^

My main problem is that I was quite lonely on here and in real life. I'm currently home bound until I have my operation so its nice to have some regular people to chat with. Actually from this post I feel I have made some nice and easy to talk to friends. I'm pleased ^.^ I think I might as well get this post locked now actually. I like your HA by the way c:
