AMEN. I've been pinged about new battle suggestions more in the last week than I have in the whole year. Seriously.
It's not hard to click a few buttons for a few minutes of your time. If you're not happy with that, USE AUTO TRAIN. This feature eliminates clicking for 24 sessions. There is no need for a "train all" button as that would only add more bulk to an already overcrowded page.

Plus, what about alerts then? Would you get an alert for every single pet, or non at all? and i swear if I got an alert for every pet I'd kill something.
If you want to train them all, just click and scroll down the page fast before it loads. Put in one alert for each training time and before you know it, you'll have big pets. It works for me, it can work for you.
i'm not keen on this suggestion as it seems well, a bit lazy.
what i would suggest instead is if regular training sessions were changed to be a bit more like autotraining sessions. which is to say, you manually enter the pet, then X minutes later, your pet is automatically completed from the session, and you get an alert saying "your pet (NAME) has gained (# POINTS IN STAT)," then you go manually enter them again. seems like it would cut streamline the process, because you have to admit, it does seem like there's a lot of unnecessary clicking as is.
because that's when people decide they want stronger pets and they realize how much work it is XD
and no one wants to work on subeta. Effort and Logic? Not on MY subeta.

I understand where you're coming from, and I don't really think we should make training a walk in the park. I just don't see why it has to be expensive, time consuming, AND irritating. The quests used to be the same way until they added those new buttons.
I mean on one hand it makes me go all old geezer: "Back in MY day we had to open a new tab WITHOUT these new-fangled buttons, and WE WERE GRATEFUL." But when it comes down to it I enjoy the convenience, and it hasn't functionally changed the quest that much except for streamlining it. And don't even get me started on how much I like that "put all pets into the Resort" button.
I dunno, I just don't see how at least changing it so that there's less wild clicking involved really hurts anything. Most of these arguments boil down to either "if we do something terrible could happen" or "if we do all these lazy noobs might train their pets ohnoes."
I'm sure that's something that varies for a lot of people though? Like, my main pet has much longer training times than anyone else, but I've got a group of four that are all at roughly the same level, and then another group of 4-5 that are at similar levels again. So for me, train all button would turn it from having to train every pet individually to being able click to train just three pets/groups.
but obviously the easy non-irritating way of training is Auto-training. Why would Subeta, as a business, implement a new feature that makes training easy enough to completely bypass a feature that makes them money?
I mean I was training 10 pets at one point and I got fed up and now train 2 on and off and only train the others when I can be bothered.

Hit train, hit esc. Hit train, hit esc. Hit train, hit esc. Refresh and find that all three pets are now in training. Well done.
I think said what I was thinking. It's going back and forth that's annoying and depending on bandwidth, more time consuming than not. I train 4-7 pets at a time, 4 mainly, b/c right now I'm in the lower tiers. Once it gets higher and the costs of weapons and training increases, I'm going to drop it down to only 2 and focus more on them. That seems to be what everyone else does.

I've always been for this idea. Not because it's really THAT much work to do them each separately, just because there are already changes that have happened on-site that mirror it, so I don't see why not. The resort has already been brought up, so there's that. Also, think about how quests used to be. We used to have to have the shop search open in another (few) tabs, and now there are shop search buttons under each item when you're doing a quest, making things sooo much easier. (And thanks for that, by the way, I really really love it.) I understand that this site is all clicking, and I'm not mad about having to load 60 pages to take each of my 15 pets out of training and put them all back in. All I'm saying is that a train-all button would be nice, and the precedent is already there.
As for saying that training is meant to be work, sure, I agree. But just like how quests were made more streamlined, training could be too. The work put into training isn't lessened by a few less clicks. You still need to log on to put your pets in training, you're still paying the Sp to do so. We're not talking about decreasing training times or anything, the work/time/effort is still being put in.
As for saying it would make auto training obsolete, I don't see where that's coming from. The nicest thing about auto training is that it happens for 24 hours, while you're at work or school or sleeping or whatever, and making a train-all button wouldn't take away from that.
I don't know anything about code, so if that's the issue then I understand. But like others have said, different times shouldn't really matter, it should just collect the pets that are done and then put in the ones that are not currently in training. And if we click the "train all" button multiple times per day, so what? There are so many features on-site that use this function (like quick stock), I don't see why it's an issue in training and no where else.
I hope you don't mind if I ping you , I don't know if you're still watching this thread since I know staff has been shooting this down forever. I just feel like I brought up good points.

hitting "train all" 4 times a day still sounds better than hitting "train" 4 times a day * 15 pets
(Because text affects the width of your signature, we suggest testing with all text removed to be sure your width is correct.)
Solstice definitely put it better than I could, I agree with what they said.
I agree that the shop search under the items for quests was a great added feature. But that is not a good comparison. The shop search feature merely searches the item for you in user shops. It does not buy you the item automatically for you and it does not put in captchas for you.
If there was a "train all" feature, it would no longer be similar to the shop search feature. It would automatically purchase all your training sessions and by-pass all the clicking. My analogy would be a "buy all" feature for quests.
Wouldn't it be nice of we didn't have to keep clicking "shop search" several times to finish a quest? If this "buy all" feature existed, I could finish a quest with 2 clicks. Going back to this "train all" feature, it would simply finish your training with 1 click.
It would make auto training obsolete simply by eliminating the clicking. Auto training is not defined by you going to work or sleep. It's defined by the benefits it gives you and less clicking is one of them. If this "train all" button comes into affect, the auto training will have one less benefit, thus less incentive for people to use auto training. Here I am quoting Nonchalant:
With less incentive for people to use auto training because of this "train all" feature, it will be Subeta's loss as a business. If anything, this "train all" feature should be available to those who use auto training as an incentive to continue using it.

I never would have thought to do that. Will be trying soon. π
Honestly, I'd be happy if the buttons to put pets in/take them out of training classes were just right-clickable. I can handle a ton of page navigation much easier by right-clicking and opening everything in new tabs. I get where everyone is coming from with wanting training to still have some form of difficulty, but I also really enjoy convenience so I'm definitely liking the vibe of a Train All button too. I'm barely at 10 pets and my wrist already regularly hurts after all of that clicking, so I can't even imagine what it's like for someone who wants to mass train 15 or 20 pets.
What in life has costed the same and taken the same time to start as for those who have gotten far into it? This is like saying a body builder who has been at it for 10 years shouldn't have the expenses they do to keep their muscles. That also people new to body building should get strong as the 10 year guy with no trying efforts other than picking up a weight. I promise you the guy who was in it for 10 years has lots of time, money and effort sunk into what he does. The new person is going to have those same results one day if they keep with it and understand it'll be different even a year from when they start. The new person just has to be willing to put in the same or more effort as the 10 year guy.
Training here much like anything else just simply keep with it. I've been at it forever and have 3 t4 and one almost t6 pet. It's also up to you when and if you train your pets. If anything maybe just see about having a drop menu allowing up to like 5 sessions in a row where each session beyond 1 adds an extra 100k. So that way it doesn't fully detract from ATing. at the same time though ATing is already pretty simple and having to pick one session or 24hrs is as simple as this system can allow and Keith has even already said as of now they have no way to overhaul training and battle set ups without either pissing off the users who have trained or achievements earned. Keith has said he wishes they could have done a tree like training where you could pick if a pet was more stealthy or tank or any style you like for characters to be to diversify the options, but again there's currently no way short of dumping everything we have now. If they did dump things I'm not sure they could restore the hard earned stats and battle exp in any way, even as a bank of sorts to customize the battle style of using a tree system. Can you imagine being ANY of the top rated battle pet owners and losing all of it just because others wouldn't train their pets and now cry over it?
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
The difference being that this isn't real-life bodybuilding, so we're not limited by the same laws of reality. And I don't have any problems with points one and two, it's only the irritation of having to click a billion and ten buttons that I have a problem with.
Seems you're the only one with this issue of clicking things then cuz in the end as training times get varied you'll just have to click more again to keep a pet in training all day if you can't use the ATing option.
FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.
I always get annoyed at "automate this for me" suggestions, get over it and click a few times.
Works great, hit esc. after a moment so it processes but doesn't load the next page. You can do it taking them out of training too if you take them out at once.
No need for this at all. It's not hard to click 'train' on your pets, even with 20+. It's not something that takes very long, especially once your pets get to higher tiers and it takes longer for them to finish a session and you don't have to do it so often.
