I'd really like a pet similar to an elephant. I don't think there's a current one that's equivalent, or looks close. I think an elephant-like experiment pet would be really great!

I completely agree. I LOVE elephants!!! And I also don't wantto see it turned into another Experiment pet. I like the experiment pets, but I definitely would want the option of other colors. A+++ idea!

Elephants have a fabulous memory, mourn deceased loved ones, and can live as long as humans. I think an elephant pet species would make a perfect addition to Subeta. After all, isn't the common complaint that the site has too many canine pets?

An elephant would be an awesome animal to have as a pet here, especially if they stylized the ears and tusks in unique ways. Plus, it would be a good concept to make a circus-themed pet

I love this idea! And playing off 's idea, it would be super awesome to have the nostalgic version be a gorgeous vintage circus elephant. Lots of great possibilities.

I think there are only 2 creatures (Tigrean and Kumos) that look like actual animals. Can you imagine what they'd do if they added an Elephant? I imagine a zapper experiment. :( I'd like to see an Asian and Indian (Hindu) ornate elephant. Oo that would probably be the experiment elephant.. Ganesh! (Although that's not quite what I was thinking when I thought "ornate") :D

I think they did pretty well with the Minder minion. A larger version as a pet would be perfect :)

Ganesh would actually be a good inspiration for some ornaments for him! I would just want the pet to be quad and not so anthro ;)

I'd love to see the artists play around with the tusks, and also the ear pattern idea mentioned above is great!

I'd especially love to see it be a very gruff/stern looking pet.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an elephant pet! They could design them to have blankets/markings like the painted elephants from the Elephant Festival:

The markings could be congruous with the pet color (similar to the Tigrean's stripes) but can you imagine the Spectrum and Blacklight colors? Or Galactic, all in gold with crystal accents? wistful sigh

To differentiate them from actual elephants, maybe capped tusks or tusks that curl up into a short spiral?
