Alrighty - my turn to ask a question. I have followed the instructions to the letter a few times now and still my image will not display on the forums. It shows up in preview, but I get a broken image icon when I post. It's well within the size limits for a right-aligned image. sigh Any help? I've also had this problem when trying to put an image in my signature.

I've been absent for some time and have returned to find my signature image broken. I swapped out the image for another ergo trying a different link and no change. There is nothing wrong with the link, the image displays fine in my signatures on other websites. What is the issue?

try uploading the image to imgur and linking it from there, from what i've seen that always works. c:

- but I don't USE imgur. I have a webpage and don't feel I should have to use another site just to get an image to work here as it is supposed to. :/ (But thank you for the tip. If I absolutely MUST do it, I guess I will have to create an account there. sigh)

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem today, but my issue with fixing my signature through Imgur is that my signature was another clickable pets adoption site thingy.

I get points or rewards everytime the image gets viewed in its original URL form.

If I upload it to Imgur, I can't get any "views". :( It's sad, I think maybe Subeta have implemented some changes to prevent hotlinking, or images from unverified sites (assuming Imgur has some kind of standard.)

The Imgur solution wasn't quite successful, the image is no longer broken but while it appears in the preview, obviously it doesn't here.

I think this warning takes up as much space as my sig did -- no way was I over height. Not even close.

How long does it take for my signature to update on the forums? :0 It's been like an hour or something. I've been posting to see if it changes only for new posts, not retroactively.

Try cleaning your cache! It may help

Where is the "site navigation". I can't find where that is for forum options.

this guide seems a bit outdated, so the layout has changed since then.

at the bar on the top, go to the interact tab and go to forums (or just hit interact, it takes you to the forums) once there, look for the options tab across the top of the forums page (or just click here)

So you do not get a warning if it is bigger? I've noticed people posting images that are wider but the site resizes them down a bit -- it seems automatic, is this really a thing?

posted images in the body of your text should be resized automatically but if you notice they're huge and stretching the forums, you should edit them out and just link the url instead or resize the image yourself and post that =)

apparently i should not have attempted to do this tonight...and i've been stuffing around with it and now it's already bedtime and i've done NOTHING ELSE flips table so, i'm trying to add the image currently in my signature as a forum image (on right side). except when i attempt putting it in as forum image (with two centered lines of text in signature, not with image there as well) it says: "Oh No! Oh no, that isn't a valid image!" i have tried using my usual photobucket and even created an imgur account and tried that too, both end up with the same message. all the img addresses work because it appears fine as an image. is this because the image size is too big, or something wrong with the type of file, or is it just a bug, or what? jeez this is driving me nuts, hence why i dropped it into my signature for the time being as at least that seemed to finally work. it might end up staying there if all this turns out too hard (i'm laaaazy).

if anyone has any insight into this i'd much appreciate it! if not, i'll either just leave it in my signature, or maybe make a ticket if i get really desperate...

ps, is this really the biggest size i can haz?! i'm pretty sure i've seen bigger ones as forum pics, so i was a little surprised i had to shrink it so much?! as far as i'm aware, my sizes are under the total limits with enough room to put one more line of text in my signature during events for a kissing/dancing/whatever link

pps, i may be a totally dummy, but does px=pixel? is it the same term? are they the same size?! google is confusing me even more. i think i'll just go to bed. eff it. i'm not waiting around for my cache to catch up with all my updating :/

Is it not possible to use italics and centering at the same time? I tried to do both with my sig but it only lets me do one or the other.
