[edit] It is not removing the image from the Forum Image section. I'm hoping it is just catching up.

So I put a single line of text in my signature, but now it's saying: Your signature is 463 px wide by 18 px tall. Please note this can be affected by CustomCSS if you have any.

But it's a single line of text, yet it's apparently over the width limit when text can just go to another line if that happened, and I don't think it even gets to that long, what's going on here? I'm sort of in panic mode, sorry if this isn't really comprehensible, but I don't want to get warned for something I don't comprehend that makes no sense to me...

Add in a couple things called breaks, the code is simply [ br ] without the spaces. The site reads all text at 10pt which is why it gets so massive so fast, even if you code it to be something smaller.

Breaks should get you in under that, I've had three lines of text for two years this way without a problem.

Ah, I guessed breaks would be that, like in HTML. But the thing is, I'd like it all to be in one line - and look at it, is it really 400+ pixels wide? I honestly don't think so... If break code is the only way to get around it, then alright, but...

(I haven't changed the size, either - it's literally just text)

To be honest with you, it doesn't look like it to me but that's what the admins go by when they check. Even though the onsite tool to measure has been proven time and again that it can be very inaccurate.

Just an fyi, the alignment of your signature never shows up on the signature page. I'm not sure why, but it's been like that as long as I can remember

can i tag a user in my signature? i tried the @ tag but it didn't work, is there another way? i've seen other signatures with it! thanks :3

I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I tried to change my current forum image (only a color change) ..but every time I try to change it I get this error:

I changed the size a little but it doesn't work. My signature is 450 px wide by 75 px tall, the forum image is 150 px wide by 241 px tall. Was there a change on how this works?

I made a ticket and got the problem resolved. It seems photobucket was the problem for me, after I switched to imgur everything works fine and I can use my forum image again =) Maybe that works for you too? ^^

@ whisperly oh, thank you for the ping! :) sadly... I tried imgur before posting here the first time, but I tried again just to check and still nothing... I haven't had a ton of time lately, but I'll probably see if I can play around with the files more...

that's a separate feature. you need to have a gold account (you can get a 1 week GA free right now by clicking here) and then you can go to the pets page, click on the pet's drop-down menu, and click "leash."
